It's a bit irritating when you see someone bad mouthing the place you work/volunteer at. Especially the way she's phrasing things that makes the place sound so cold-hearted. I swear that's not the case!
One of my past college classmates found a cat and a kitten ((though the kitten seems to have gone missing now)) but is unable to take them in herself. She says she called the shelter I volunteer at (and another) and "both of them are not accepting strays and refuse to even offer resources to find her a home". It's not that we aren't accepting any animals; it's just that you have to arrange an appointment. We're pretty full on animals right now, so we're having to be a bit more close-doored to the intake of animals than we used to be.
I don't know... there just seems to be a whole lot that she's saying that doesn't match up to what I know my shelter being.
I even posted on her status what I basically said above, because I just couldn't stand her consistent bad mouthing of my place of volunteering. Especially when it creates such a false negative image of the place.
