[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar flattened her ears. "Shortstar? Shortstar?!" she demanded, completely forgetting about the kits for a moment. "Since when do you call me that? And why do you have to poke fun at my size, you know I hate that," she spat, glaring at Blazewhisper, not with hatred, but with annoyance. Blazewhisper very well knew how much she hated being called small, especially since she was barely the size of an apprentice as it was. She shook her head to calm down and looked at Blazewhisper again. "So they split up huh? They'll make good warriors someday," she purred. "Still, you better take someone else and split up yourself. With Twolegs in our territory, we can never be too careful. You did good to come back for help," she nodded, as she looked around. "Take Opalheart. She's not the best fighter, but a darn good tracker. She'll help you out," she mewed, flicking her tail at the newly appointed warrior before heading back to her mouse.

Blazewhisper licked her ear. "i dont call you shortstar it's just a nick name i picked up from some one esle. relax." she said playfully pushing her on the ground on her side. s"when the last time you had some fun kindlestar?"

Kindlestar shook her head. "Seems like ages ago..." she replied, her eyes thoughtful. "We should go on a patrol some time soon, like we used to before," she mewed, looking at Blazewhisper. Then she flicked her ear, noticing the first thing Blazewhisper had said. "Who did you pick it up from?" she asked in dismay. Having other Clan members calling her Shortstar was not a very comforting thought to her.

Thornkit placed the 3rd mouse on his make-shift pile. "I only caught 2 mice and 1 vole. So far.."thought Thornkit. He padded off in more prey.

Dawnkit padded over to were his brother's freshkill pile lay and he sneered. He couldn't wait until he could show his brother his catch. He dug a hole close to where the freshkill lay and put his rabbit in. Afterwards he ran after his brother, hoping to tell him that they were no longer being followed.

Thornkit turned around and saw Dawnkit. "Dawnkit? Do you need something?" mewed Thornkit, Placing a another vole on his pile.

Dawnkit nodded. "I believe that whoever was following us has stopped. They left when I was stalking a rabbit," he grumbled, his ears perked up as he attempted to listen for any unusual sounds, but could hear nothing out of ordinary moor sounds. "Think we should go back already? You have a pretty big mountain of fresh kill and I have a rabbit. If we hunt anymore we won't be able to take it back," he meowed, glancing at the gathered freshkill.

Cursedstar padded through the FireClan camp enterance and looked around for Kindlestar. "Kindlestar you really need to up the security on this place. Flamewind and I just walked right in!" She padded over to where her friend was sitting. "So... Time to do Leader stuff right?"

((*Falls* Ouch Cursedstar... you should really not randomly tackle poor unsuspecting peeps like myself. It hurts our spleens. eek Flamewind is in PebbleClan now? Holy... I really need to pay more attention to things from time to time. ninja ))

Kindlestar looked up from where she sat talking to Blazewhisper. She padded over to Cursedstar and bowed her head in greeting at the PebbleClan leader. "With all due respect, Cursedstar, the only reason you were not attacked is because you have been expected," she said good humoredly. She flicked her tail at Cursedstar and headed towards her den, signaling that she should follow. "We will have more privacy in my den," she explained.

"Yes, Lets go back." mewed Thornkit, Picking up his piece of fresh-kill. He turned around and padded back to camp.

Blazewhisper simled. "yea we should. i picked it up from your number one fan dawnkit." she growled when she saw cursed star. FANILLY! no i can get to the bottom of this! kindlestar has to let me go! eascally after she made a rude coment on or CLAN!Blazewhisper followed kindlestar "with all do repcet please allow me to come as well. i dont wan to leave you unportected"

Kindlestar glanced back at Blazewhisper in surprise. She wasn't used to having Blazewhisper talking to her in this fashion. However, seeing as how they were in front of another Clan leader, this was for the best. Otherwise, Cursedstar might confuse joking around with disrespect. She flicked her tail as if to tell her that they will discuss the matter on Dawnkit afterwards and nodded. "Send Opalheart to relieve you. After that, come to my den," she mewed, flicking her tail at Opalheart. "I think you should tell Cloudyheart as well. Best to have two of them on it as originally planned," she added, turning around and heading towards her den.

Dawnkit took his rabbit in his mouth and headed towards the camp proudly, his tail held high. He was very proud of his catch, and he knew that between him and his brother they were sure to impress Kindlestar for sure.

When Thornkit and Dawnkit got near the camp, He scented PebbleClan." Why is PebbleClan here?" mewed Thornkit as He padded through the Entrance.

Dawnkit's ears flattened as he saw a PebbleClan warrior close to Kindlestar. "Look. They seem to be talking to Shortystar...." he growled, nodding his head towards the two cats. "You think we should get close?" he asked Thornkit, placing his rabbit on the ground in front of him.

"No, And I think that's Cursedstar of PebbleClan." mewed Thornkit. He heard this around the Nursery. "Anyway, They would question us."
