reagun ban For those that don't yet know, I hate my job. My proffesional opinion gets repeatedly disregarded, I get interrupted mid-sentence when giving the "I'd do it this way because " spiel. I am frustrated, depressed and I travel 2+ hours each way every day.
This job is undermining my confidence and my mental health.
I need a new job.
I have a technical exam, following on from a very bad interview. If I do really well in the technical exam, I'm in with a shot.
If anyone's willing to lend support, magical, psychological, emotional, whatever, I'd really appreciate it.You know you got my support. Oi Rish for the Win!!!!!

I want these. Since I actually had mono this fall, and my girlfriend by some miracle didn't get it, I think I should give her that one. My roommate keeps talking about getting me the syphilis one because we have this huge inside joke repetoire about "butt pox." ^^;

Things are kinda shitty. But they will look up. After my exam tomorrow I have no more classes until January. I should really be studying for it.

TheDisreputableDog I want these. Since I actually had mono this fall, and my girlfriend by some miracle didn't get it, I think I should give her that one. I'm affraid I'm not too skilled with magical anything, but at the very least, I hope the situation changes. Perhaps it would do to just take a step back and chill for a little while. Stressful envioronments are not good for any sort of health (I'm looking forward to my psychologist telling me that today at 4... rolleyes ) If it means anything, I sort of know what that feels like.

How to stretch a Rubber Chicken:
You will need:
1 Whole Fryer Chicken
42 Cloves of Garlic
1c Olive Oil
1 Baguette
Chicken stock or bullion cubes
Misc Veggies, Peppers, Tatoes etc (the ammount depends on what you consider a serving- but figure it making about 10 meals worth)
1/2c Butter
3c + 4T flour
3t baking power
1/2t salt
1T sugar
3/4c Milk
The first night:
Chicken and 40 Cloves
Pan sear the Chicken, then in a roasting pan, roast it with the Olive Oil and 40 Cloves of garlic still in the paper. Lightly steam some of the veggies and serve them as a side along the bread and chicken. The roasted garlic can be spread onto the bread.
Second night:
Take the remaining Chicken and the steamed veggies and make a soup. Everything being cooked, this will be a quick meal. Just heat through and serve.
Third night:
Chicken bake-
In a casserol dish, chop up some more tatoes, and scoop out the soup chunks into the casserol dish.
Melt 4T butter in a pan, salt and pepper and add 2 cloves of garlic. Mix in 4T of flour and cook until a good roux forms. Use the stock from the soup to make a gravy you approve of and pour over the veggies.
Take 3c Flour, 1/2t Salt, the sugar and baking power and mix in a bowl. Break the butter into the flour and work until it is moist but crumbly. Add in the milk and stir. Kneed in the bowl then flatten out and lay on top of the casserol dish. Bake until the top is fluffy and golden brown.
Meals for two that last three days running around $20? Can't beat that.
