Kindlestar nodded at Blazewhisper and at Firesong. "You will both accompany me then. Rabbitpaw, I wish you to come along as well. As for Dawnkit and Waterkit... I am afraid that this is not a battle you may pursuit. You are much too young. Your moment to shine is not today," she mewed, her whiskers twitching with amusement at the look of astonishment on Dawnkit's face. "We leave in pursuit now," she mewed, getting down from the rock and leading the way.

Dawnkit growled, his ears flattened against his head but said nothing. He knew that the small leader would not agree to his plight, so he sat down, and watched them go in anger.

((Since we had to skip the training session in the middle of it, let us assume that I simply stood up, quickly ran after Kindlestar to camp. And that I was present at the meeting as well. Sorry for missing so many posts. sad ))

Rabbitpaw felt stupid. All this time, with the excitement of becoming apprentice and having her first training session, she hadn't come to think of it for a second: Kindlestar, her mentor, was the leader of Fireclan. It was embarrassing, but she didn't even pay attention to the name closely enough. Now she wished to hide somewhere, but this wasn't the moment to act cowardly.

Forget about it now, Rabbitpaw! There are more important matters to worry about!

As the apprentice heard the orders of her leader and mentor, she nodded. Then, she held her breath for a short moment, and sighed.

Gathering some courage, she prepared for the mission that awaited her and the other participants of the pursuit, and proceeded to follow Kindlestar. Any other concerns had now vanished from her mind.

Thornkit watched the patrol go. "Dawnkit..." mewed Thornkit. "If we were in camp, We would had saved Lovekit...from the Twolegs."

Waterkit it looked at thronkit. "it dosent matter any mores as long as we get her back!" she mewd

((Hang on, Maybe when they get older Lovekit and Thornkit could fall in love even though medicine cats aren't supposed to fall in love ninja Cuz he seems REALLY worried about her.))

The Twolegs Brought her out and she was drenched. Then they ran off with her.

Thornkit's ears drooped down as He padded back ino the Nursery.

Dawnkit nodded at Thornkit. "Maybe we should follow them.... we can help!!! We are almost apprentices anyways," he growled as he followed his brother.

Kindlestar followed the trail the twolegs had left. She sniffed the air closely. The twolegs had passed through here not to long ago, and seemed to have headed towards the lake. She gave a silent prayer to StarClan that the kit was still alright as she pressed on, guiding her rescue patrol through the moorlands and to the lake, following the scent closely.

Blazewhisper bloted up to her ledaers side and smelt the senct as well. "you want me to go up ahead? just incease they attack?"

Water kit padlle next to dawnkit. "maybe but wont we get in torable if they see us? they may not make us appteraice if they get mad..."

Kindlestar kept her speed. She wasn't the fastest cat in FireClan nor was she the strongest, but she had more cunning than most despite her appearance. "No. We enter together. I wish to see what they are doing before we head in. No matter how much we wish, we are just cats, and we stand no chance in a true fight against twolegs. The idea is to get Lovekit and run out as fast as we possibly can. If they follow, we will have to spread out. I will head back to camp and evacuate everyone. Worse comes to worse... we head to Moontree..." she ordered, her ears flat against her head as she spoke.

Dawnkit spat. "Do you really think that that goofball will notice? Honestly, that so called leader looks more like an apprentice than any of the other cats. Heck, even I am bigger than she is," he growled, his tail flicking. Dawnkit was almost six moons old now, and was the biggest kit in the nursery. Every cat could see he was going to be one big tom when he grew up, and none could deny that he was very strong for a kit. Unfortunately, this had gotten to his head, making him feel superior to even the Clan's leader.

"You should respect our Leader!" growled Thornkit. "Anyway, I'm going."
Thornkit got up on his paws and ran toward the Entrance.  

[Kitsune Thistletree]

Dawnkit sneered as he saw his brother running out through the entrance, clearly disobeying orders and ran after him, hoping to catch up to the twolegs.

"Hmm...Maybe we should follow the scent of the twolegs in a differrent way?" mewed Thornkit, Flicking his tail. "Thats why, we can't be caught by Kindlestar." He started running with a glint of fury in his eyes.

"Well what exactly do you suggest we do? If we go another way, then we'll never catch up. We have to catch up to them as fast as possible," Dawnkit meowed, his blue eyes glinting with hatred.

"We can't get into trouble." hissed Thornkit. When he scented Kindlestar and the Others's Scent, He stopped and looked around the Forest. "There are two paths leading to the Twolegs." mewed Thornkit. "We should take the one that avoids Kindlestar. And both of them leads to the Twolegs." He padded deeper into the Forest, Following the Twolegs's Scent. "Beside, If we get into Trouble. Kindlestar will make us apprentices later."

Firesong followed Kindlestar wordlessly. She was worried. Strangely, it wasn't about lovekit. Dawnkit was far too quick to disobey orders, and for very little reason. He'd have a hard time as an apprentice if that attitude kept up. She knew his size lent him courage, but he had to realize that he couldn't do just whatever he wanted.

Firesong sighed and shook the thought away. It was a problem for another time. Focusing on her surroundings, she followed her leader.
