I hate snow. T.T

Seriously, once it starts in MN, it doesn't stop until at least halfway through spring. It's almost December though, and we've only gotten a little snow. It rained last night, and it's kind of chilly, but no snow yet.

I want snow! Not only is it pretty, but it just about guarantees that classes will be cancelled--since where I live, when it snows, it usually snows at least five or so inches. Last year was the crappy exception.

I've been taking a break from defending Christianity from the Christians as of late.

I tend to get a bit flustered when I know more about a theology on both a spiritual level and a historical level than the follower of the path. To my credit it did take twenty minutes of listening to a Christian talk out their arse about scripture and it's history within The Church before I finally lost it.

"What the ******** do you know about Yeshua? He was a ******** Sidhe! Bested by a handful of cold iron and a couple chunks of wood. Some god!" rolleyes

I stopped in Minneapolis, MN on Thanksgiving, and it was warmer there than in Portland, OR, I was kind of surprised. My fiancee went to college there and had tales of the snow and cold and said it usually starts sooner than it seems to be. Portland is usually really really mild and we only get a small stretch of under-freezing days a year.

Today at work, it snowed an inch on me while I was in the barn, and on the way home we passed five or so emergency vehicles surrounding a flipped SUV some feet off the highway. Snow doesn't usually even STICK. It was much clearer at my house (about 20 miles away).

My fiance (the one "e" one) and I have a literary interest in the Bible and Gnostic texts. I don't think I come close to the academic knowledge that you have, but I used to be surprised that I knew the Bible better than any of my Christian friends, but I'm not anymore. Just... confused.

It's like everyone's reading a different Bible than me. (More likely, though, not reading it at all.)

Yup! I'm planning to add and sometimes chocolate to them. I have to decide what kind of and sometimes chocolate, though; I want something fairly decadent.

My tree is a little one (and fiber optic!) so I need hearts that fit it in scale. I think I'll pull it out on Mothernights to get a size estimate and decide what colors I want to do. I'm debating going for the standard red/white (for the flags) or giving in to my Spirit Animal and making Rainbow ones.
