[Kitsune Thistletree]

Dawnkit flexed his well formed muscles. Despite being a kit, he was already as big as an apprentice. He lowered his body as he saw the small crow pecking at the ground. He sneered as he knew he would catch it, giving one swift pounce at the crow and killing it with one swift blow. He stood proudly over his kill and grabbed it to find his brother.

Thorkit lay over a mouse, his ears and tail drooped. Dawnkit let go of the crow and padded over to his brother. "Are you alright?" he asked, sitting next to him, licking his lips as he felt the still warm blood covering his muzzle.

"I can never hunt when I'm a Medicine cat.." answered Thornkit. He picked up the mouse and digged a hole for it so he can come back to get it when he finish Hunting.

Firesong got up and stretched. It was time to talk to kindlestar. She just hoped that the leader would agree with her.

Cloudyheart placed two piece of fresh-kill on well-stacked pile of prey.
Noticing Firesong, She padded over where Firesong was. "Hello, Firesong." meowed Cloudyheart.

"oh". Firesong looked at Cloudyheart. "hello there. How are you?"

((Medicine cats can't hunt????! I missed that part, maybe?))

"I'm fine." answered Cloudyheart. "The Camp seem awful quiet today."

((lol maybe they can't. i didn't remember hearing the rule, but kits can't hunt anyway.....))

"Yeah, you would think the kits would at least be making a racket....." Firesong's ear twitched uncomfortably. this sounded eerily familiar. she groaned.

"You mean Dawnkit and Thornkit?" meowed Cloudyheart. "They been the Loudest Kits of the Nursery so Far." meowed Cloudyheart, Amused.

(Kits can hunt! Well...Kits that are almost to become apprentices. o smile

((Riiigghht. I doubt Kindlestar will feel the same))

"yeah." Firesong headed toward the nursery. "it's odd for them not to be making some kind of trouble." Of course, she'd feel more secure if they were making trouble. at least she'd know where they were...

"They been play-fighting too rough lately.." meowed Cloudyheart.

"yeah, they're eager to be apprentices, and the fighting is showing that, i guess...if they're tha rough, it means that they need something else to do to let off energy maybe..."
Firesong looked in the den. as she thought, Thornkit and Dawnkit were nowhere to be found. She sniffed around, finding their scent at the camp entrance. She sniffed through the tunnel too. Just as she'd suspected. "Well, should we tell Kindlestar or go get them ourselves?" she looked at Cloudyheart.

((They hunted pray that was in the camp, they never said they left camp.))

Lovekit walked out into the clearing. It was her first time since hawks could catch her and she wouldn't know.

"We should go get them." meowed Cloudyheart.

(I even typed down, Thornkit padded outside of camp.)

(( Yah, you have to go to the training hollow to fetch her. Sorry, I do not like my cat being in two places at one. sweatdrop And yeah... Kindlestar will not be amused when she finds out. twisted ))

Dawnkit looked at his crow. He dug a hole next to his brother's and placed the crow there. "Well, maybe you can. Maybe you can make an exception. I mean really, who's going to stop you?" he demanded, his fur bristling at the idea that his brother would never know the joys of hunting like he was destined to.
