Riverpaw flinched as Talonclaw pushed her aside. "For your information, Firecloud, I was going out." Firecloud glared at the apprentice.

Talonclaw sniffed her fur, "ok, no Moonclan scent on me, time to go back!"

Firecloud hissed, "You step across any border or out of any territory I'll send Sunshadow to come get you and knock some sence into you." She growled as Riverpaw walked out of the camp.

"Don't worry" hissed Riverpaw. "I'm not going anywhere bad. I'm staying in our territory, and I won't be to far from camp." Riverpaw suddenly realized that she was speaking to a Starclan cat as if she was a mewling kit. Riverpaw flattened her ears agianst her head. "sorry" she murmered.

Firecloud nodded, "Fine." She disappeared.

Moonlight licked her kits heads, she could already tell they're eyes were open. They were more intergetice(?) and they were starting to talk. "Mom! Can we play outside?" Heatherkit asked. She was just like her father, always wanting something.

"No, Heatherkit." Moonlight purred. "When your older." Nightkit laughed and pounced on Heatherkit. They rolled for a bit, "Come on, Heatherkit. We have the whole nursery!" Nightkit laughed. Ashkit and Shadowkit looked at each other then jumping into the fight.

Talonclaw was about to head for the camp when something hit her, next thing she knew in front of her we're a huge group of cats. "huh?" A cat stepped forward. "welcome to Starclan Talonclaw." "what?!?!" Talonclaw screeched.
(there we go, I don't know what hit talonclaw, but if no body can think of anythin, I'm just going to say she got hit by a car, Like she didn't know she was on a dirt road.)

Riverpaw padded a little while into the forest, finally resting at a tall tree. She clambered up the tree and found an old squirrel nest. Once the cat made sure no other animals were there, she curled up in a ball and began to sleep.

The next morning Riverpaw woke up to the sound of Sunshadow calling for her. Riverpaw's heart ached. She suddenly began to wish she had told someone. Then she remembered talking to Firecloud. For sure, the starclan cat would tell someone that she was safe. Riverpaw hoped so. She could hear Moonlight and her kits in the nursery and Riverpaw wished she had kits.
"Stupid old furball" she whispered to herself "You're only an apprentice! You can't have kits!" Quietly, she poked her head out of the hole. She sauntered out into the bright sunlight and began to wash herself.
"You mouse brained fool!" Riverpaw lost her balance and teetered on the edge of the branch. With lightning speed, she regained composure and looked around for the voice. A starry cat sat infront of her, its eyes menacingly cold.
"Yeep!" Riverpaw squeaked, ducking back into her nest.
"I am Mintleaf." Riverpaw looked at the starclan warrior in bewilderment. "I was the medicen cat before you were born. You must go back to your clan!" Riverpaw blinked.
"What do you mean? I came out here to sort myself out" she mewed crossley. Mintleaf sighed.
"Little kit, there is more to this forest than you can imagine. You must go to your medicen cat and tell her/him that a great danger is looming in the future."
"Why can't you?" retorted Riverpaw once agian slithering out of her den."I am busy."
"And you don't think that starclan is busy too?" Mintleaf growled. Riverpaw nodded in acknowledgement. "Riverpaw, there is not much you have to find." Riverpaw cocked her head in confusion.
"You say you are out here to sort yourself out. But there is nothing you need to find. You are lonely. You have a bad past that haunts you. That is all you know and all you need to know." Mintleaf said.
"I'm still confused." Riverpaw admitted.
Mintleaf softened her tone "Go back to your twolegs and you will find every thing you need to know." Riverpaw shreiked in horror. "I'm NEVER going back there! Do you know what they did to me?" Mintleaf dragged her tail over Riverpaw's shoulder. "Dearest Riverpaw, I shall be there with you the entire time. You have to face your destiny. Now go back to your clan." A hint of sorrow shone in Mintleaf's eyes, as if she knew something about the twolegs that Riverpaw didn't. Riverpaw leapt down to the forest floor and padded into camp.

Talonclaw shook her head, she looked down and noticed Mintleaf and Riverpaw. "Riverpaw!" Talonclaw dived down, she had no idea how she did it, but now she was beside Riverpaw. "Riverpaw!! I don't know how it happened, find my body!! It's near the river, I think something hit me, but thats all I know." Next thing Talonclaw knw she was back up in Starclan. "Talonclaw!" one of the cats said. "what?" "your not allowed to go down when ever you feel like!! Only when your allowed!" Talonclaw hissed back. "I'm DEAD!!!! How am I suppost to know about the rules?" ONe of the cats padded up to Talonclaw. She smelled of Moonclan. "we know what you did Talonclaw, take this as your second warning." Talonclaw stuttered, then sat, "fine. . .Tell me about the rules. . ."
(ok so thats the end of Talonclaw, now on to Ashkit!)

Ashkit nibbled on Heatherkit's ear. "ha! Take that you-you other cat!!"

Firecloud quickly caught up to Sunshadow, "Sunshadow." He jumped and looked at her.

"Firecloud?" He asked, confused.

"No, its Moonlight, yes its me!" She hissed. "Stop looking for Riverpaw. She's perfectly safe, but she needs sometime alone."

"O-okay." Sunshadow stammered and walked back to camp. Firecloud shook her head. "That cat sometimes is so mouse-brained." She laughed and dissappeared.

Heatherkit pushed Ashkit off of her and jumped at Nightkit. "Ha! You shall never defeat WoodClan!" She laughed and pinned Nightkit down. Nightkit stopped struggling and went limp. "AH! Nightkit!" Heatherkit jumped off of her sister. Nightkit leaped at Heatherkit, "Pinned 'ya!"

Ashkit leaped next to Nightkit, "ya! Take that Heatherkit!!" Ashkit batting at Heatherkits paws. "ha!! You can never walk againafter I'm done with you!!"

(mabe........... im gonna go to the twoleg place (or at least my twoleg place) and im gonna find another cat, maybe my mate, but im gonna get captured, nearly killed, and some other things.)
"What? Talonclaw! Why are you dead? Why are all my friends dying!" she listend as Talonclaw explained hastily "I will, but what do I do with it!" Talonclaw never got to answer her question, because she leapt back up to starclan. "I'll miss you, Talonclaw..." Riverpaw murmered, tears gathering in her eyes.

Riverpaw scurried along beneath the bushes, hurring back to camp.
"Ooof!" she grunted as she ran into Sunshadow.
"RIVERPAW!!! I have been looking everywhere for you! Come back to camp right now!" Sunshadow's eyes grew wide as he spoke, but no anger formed in his voice.
"You don't understand- I've had a sign from Starclan, and I need to leave!" Riverpaw cried, struggling past him and tearing into the camp. She ran up to *med cat* and began prodding her, sleep washing away from her eyes. "Riverpaw, what in-"
"Listen! I've had a sign from starclan, and she told me to tell you that 'a great danger looms close in the future' I don't really know what it means, but..... but........ I have to go back to my twolegs. *Med cat*'s eyes grew large with concern
"Riverpaw, you can't possibly go back! You were in the medicen cats den for two moons!" Riverpaw bowed her head in exaustion
"The old Fireclan medicen cat, Mintleaf, told me I had to go. Do you know Mintleaf? I have to respect a starclan cats word. She told me I had to go and fuffil my destiny, which, apparently, is with the twoleg" *medcat* stared in disbelife as Riverpaw dished out her speach. The young apprentice somberly padded out of the den and went over to Moonlight. "Congratulations with your kits, Moonlight!" she meowed, in a much happier tone.
"Riverpaw! Where were you?" Moonlight asked as her kits rolled on the floor.
"Where ever I was doesn't matter anymore. I have to go back to the twolegs. I just came to say goodbye. If anyone asks where I'm going, just tell them the same." Moonlight opened her mouth in disbelife.
"Mousebrain!" she hissed "You can't go back! You will be killed!" Riverpaw nodded, tears springing to her eyes. "Starclan told me to go. They didn't tell me why. But Mintleaf did seem sad about it....." Riverpaw squeaked in surprise "You don't think she'll lead me there to kill me, do you?" Moonlight shook her head no. "Starclan doesn't do that type of thing." Mintleaf alighted next to Riverpaw. "Time to go, Riverpaw. Go get some herbs and lets be off."
Riverpaw said one final goodbye to her clanmates and ran over to *medcat*
"Great timing! I already have some herbs. Do be careful, Riverpaw." *medcat* purred.

Mintleaf and Riverpaw padded out of camp, some cats watching from the clearing as the apprentice and a hazy mist dissapeared into the shrubbery.

"Wait!" Riverpaw cried, stopping in mid trot. "I still have to find Talonclaw! I promised her! I must go." Mintleaf began to argue, but realized that Riverpaw was serious. She sighed, mewing "OK, but don't be long." Riverpaw scrambled off to the river. When she arrived, an overpowering stench rose to greet her. Riverpaw gagged as she realized she was near a thunderpath. And there, Talonclaw lay, on the side of the thunderpath, the river gently lapping at her tail. Riverpaw couldn't belive the sorrow the morning brang. She grasped Talonclaw by the scruff and dragged her back to camp. Her clanmates gathered around her, whispers of "What happend to her?", and "Riverpaw is supposed to be at her twolegs!" *leader* hurried over. "What happend!" he/she screetched, as Riverpaw laid down her friend. "A monster from the thunderpath hit her." Talonclaw padded up behind her. "Thank you, Riverpaw. You must continue with your quest now." Riverpaw nodded and slunk back into the forest, quickly catching up with Mintleaf.

Ashkit turned, she noticed abody in the clearing. "mommy who's that?"

Moonlight stared at Talonclaw's body, "No...Ashkit, Heatherkit, Nightkit and Shadowkit come into the nursery." She walked back inside.

Blackmoon quickly said his goodbyes and went to the nursery.

Firecloud walked up to Mintleaf, "I will watch, but nothing more. Please bring her back safe, Moonlight needs her." Mintleaf nodded and touched noses with Firecloud.

Ashkit looked back at the body, then hurried into the nursery behind his (Ashkit is a he right?) mother. "mom. . .whats going on? Why are we in here?" Heatherkit nugged Ashkit, "hey! Stop asking so many questions! Your giveing me a headach!!" Ashkit sighed and lay down. "ok whatever Heatherkit."
