"Hmph. Not that interested..." Dawnkit replied, curling up. "It's getting late anyways, so I'm going to sleep," he told his brother, flicking his ear.
((Okay, I'm going to fast foward to the next day, at least with Kindlestar so I can start Rabbitkit's training.))
Kindlestar woke up, the rays of sunshine breaking faintly through the leader den. She got up and stretched, her muscles relaxed after a good night sleep. She got out of the den and stared around, exited. It would be her first day training as a mentor, and she could barely wait. She went to the apprentice den to see if Rabbitkit was already awake, thinking they could take some breakfast before heading out.

Kitsune Thistletree ((I'm not sure. I think you should be able to make a new kit. I mean, you only have one cat here in FireClan. I do not know if you have more in other Clans, but two cats is more than okay. 3nodding )) Kindlestar saw her apprentice standing just outside the apprentice den and she let her whiskers twitch with amusement. "Good morning, Rabbitpaw," she called out to the tailless apprentice. "How did you sleep last night? Do you think you are up for a bit of training after breakfast?" she asked, firing question after question just like she used to before she had turned leader, her curious nature surfacing a little without her noticing.
"Oh..."
Finally, Kindlestar appeared at the den. So she had come for her. Rabbitpaw's training was about to begin, and she was very excited about that. So excited, that she had totally forgotten about breakfast. Or more specifically, about how hungry she was.
"Good morning!" The apprentice responded cheerfully to her mentor's greeting.
"Um... sure! After breakfast, yes!" So hungry...

Kitsune Thistletree Kindlestar purred in agreement and headed towards the freshkill pile. She picked a mouse from there and took it off a little closer to the camp entrance. "Once we are done eating, we can start out. Now, any questions you may have before we head out?" she asked, her ear twitching as she wondered just how exactly she was going to start out her first lesson.
Rabbitpaw followed after her mentor, and prepared to eat breakfast as she answered, "Well... I don't really know much about clan life at all... Only what I used to hear from the other kits at the nursery, and some of the big ones every now and then when they were around."
Then she lowered her head and both ears, and continued. "So... What kinds of things are apprentices supposed to learn? And what exactly... is the duty of a warrior? Sorry... I know these are absurd questions for a cat of my age, but it's not clear to me yet..."
Rabbitpaw could imagine that these were not the sort of questions that Kindlestar expected to hear, but she still felt the urge to ask. Even if there was no other style of life for her to choose, she still wished to have no doubts about what she was getting into. She wanted to be prepared.

Kindlestar looked up at the sky, wondering how to begin answering Rabbitpaw's questions. "Well, let's see... the duty of a warrior is to be there for your Clan. Loyalty is a very important factor in this," she said, as she gulped down a bite. "However, loyalty of a Clan is imbedded to you as you go along, training, noticing how the elders and the kits need to be taken care of, how other apprentices and warriors are there to protect you. It is also a warrior's duty to fulfill a leader's orders. This is part of the warrior code. Part of the warrior code also states that an apprentice should never eat before the elders have been fed, unless asked to be joined by a warrior or elder. Remember, the needs of the Clan always come first," she added, licking her her lips.
"There is more to a warrior than just fighting however. You must set a good example for others that are younger or lower ranking than you can follow. Creamtail is a good example of this. She has never been fond of fighting... at least, not as long as I can remember. However, this makes her no less of a warrior. As a matter of fact, your denmate, Opalpaw, is her apprentice," Kindlestar went on, trying to incorporate some of the things that were happening around the Clan. "The reason you don't know this is because you were never outside, joining the Clanlife. However, this will be fixed with your training, as you grow stronger, wiser and hopefully a bit more sociable," she purred in amusement, taking one last bite of her magpie.
Dawnkit woke up and gave a huge yawn. His brother was still sleeping besides him, and he stretched and got up, getting ready to leave the nursery and go outside and play.
