"If you leave FireClan territory now Hawkclaw, then we won't have to attack. So last chance..." Duskwind hissed trying to keep calm.

((Hey Blazewhisper, Dawnkit is in the nursery bothering Rabbitkit, not out. xd Also, I am watching you. ninja Don't go attacking PebbleClan. Cursedstar is out on vacation, so my talking to her about the kit will take about a month before she comes back from Hawaii. crying

As a response to Dawnkit's challenging attitude, Rabbitkit turned to look at him once more. She didn't answer right away, and tried to come up with a good answer.

"..."

"... I am not interested in what you have to say."

With this answer, the kit walked away at a slow and calmed pace, trying not to show any fear. She didn't want to get into trouble with any other kits. And after all, it was about time she got out of that place and into the real world.

((Perhaps not the best answer, lol.))

Dawnkit hissed at Rabbitkit once more. "Oh I get it. You are both Notail and Noheart. You don't have what it takes in you do you?" he snarled in his young kit voice as he pounced on Rabbitkit, ready to start another fight.

Kindlestar padded over to the nursery, ready to see how the new kits were doing.

"I wonder how that young tailless kit is doing..." she wondered, pausing for a moment, thinking that she should speak to her mother about apprenticeship for the young kit.

Hawkclaw mreowed a laughter, "I will leave on my own free will, but as i said early, you might want to check on FrostKIT."

Dawnkit hissed at Rabbitkit once more. "Oh I get it. You are both Notail and Noheart. You don't have what it takes in you do you?" he snarled in his young kit voice as he pounced on Rabbitkit, ready to start another fight.

Kindlestar padded over to the nursery, ready to see how the new kits were doing.

"I wonder how that young tailless kit is doing..." she wondered, pausing for a moment, thinking that she should speak to her mother about apprenticeship for the young kit.

Rabbitkit tried to dodge Dawnkit's move and run away as fast as she could outside the nursery. "Let me be!" The kit cried. She didn't want to fight, least with a younger kit. Not to say, that she had never engaged in such activities before.

But, in her way out, she bumped against something. Confused, Rabbitkit raised her head, only to see that it was Kindlestar, that same cat from some time ago.

Was she so scared that she didn't even see what was just before her nose? She felt embarrassed now. As those new thoughts occupied her mind, her other worry completely faded, forgetting about Dawnkit.

Rabbitkit stayed there, quietly, not knowing what to do. Am I in more trouble now?

Dawnkit spat a bit as he noticed the kit had bumped into the leader. He turned back and headed towards his mother, knowing that upsetting the leader would make his mother angry.

Kindlestar stared down at the young kit that had run out of the nursery at full speed, noticing it was Rabbitkit. Her yellow eyes were round with surprise at finding this shy kit out of the nursery, but she was pleased. She had wanted to introduce this young kit to Clan life, and this was defenetly a start. She nodded her head to Rabbitkit in greeting, her whiskers twitching with amusement.

"You seem to have your tail in a bunch," she mewed, noticing the kit's worried look. "I haven't seen much of you outside the nursery. Something I can do for you?" she asked the kit, sitting down in front of her.

Rabbitkit didn't know what to answer. So she thought for a moment. And when she made up her mind, she took a deep breath, and then mewed.

"I..."

"I want to learn... new things." She mewed, first with a lack of confidence. But as she gained more courage, her voice became firm and strong. Even she was surprised. "I want to become an apprentice. Like the other kits!"

Then, she turned her head to look at that little corner of the camp she had just left behind. "I don't want to be there anymore."

Finally, she closed her eyes and lowered her head, waiting for the big one to respond.

Kindlestar twitched her whiskers, pleased with the kit's answer. "Well, I believe I can do something about that. As a matter of fact, you are six moons, and it is time to make you into an apprentice. The naming ceremony will take place today before moonhigh," she mewed, looking up at the sky. "And I have just the perfect mentor for you," she muttered, her eyes shining mischievously as she thought that it was about time that she got her first apprentice as well.

Rabbitkit was without words. Not sure of how to behave, she simply nodded. But the excitement was too much for just a nod.

"Thanks! I'll do my best. I promise!" She finally mewed to Kindlestar with much enthusiasm.

Thornkit watched Dawnkit and Rabbitkit with amusement. "Why you start a fight with Rabbitkit, Almost?" mewed Thornkit.

Dawnkit sat next to his brother and shrugged. "Why not. Notail never does anything but cower in a corner. Someone needs to toughen her up," he replied, his eyes staring outside. "I wonder what she's talking to the shrimp about..." he mewed, a smirk in his young face, his blue eyes twinkling with delight.
