Dawnkit yawned widely as he got his fill of milk. Still blink and deaf, there was little for him to do other than eat or sleep... or bother his brother by munching on his tail.

Thornkit felt Dawnkit munch on his tail. Flicking his tail out of reach, He goes to nibble on Dawnkit's Tail.

Dawnkit squealed as he felt Thornkit's nibbles and he started clawing at him with small, sheathed paws.

Thornkit squealed when one of Dawnkit's sheathed paws hit him. He started to hit him back with his own sheathed paws.

Mousekit mewled pittifly, she was hungry. if she didn't get food soon she would die, she could only feel the warmth of her mother's fur, she made her way over to her mothers belly and mewled, breathing for the first time.

Thornkit curled up closely to his brother Dawnkit and lay beside him. He heard a mew from the one of the other kits in the nursery. "Who was that?" thought Thornkit.

Dawnkit sniffed. He smelled strange new smells in the nursery. He was beginning to wonder what it was that lay there. Why he could smell it but not see it. His whiskers twitched as he wondered this, annoyed at his own limits, though unknowing what it was he was truly annoyed at.
