I am jealous of you. Most ideas don't come to me easily, I have to think about them for a while before I figure something out - but then it's always been like that. I'm not really one for plot development. Characters, on the other hand, are as easy to create and get inspired for as... well, they're just easy. XD I just wish I could combine plot and character to write a best-seller. ninja

I wish you luck getting it finished before then! I'm trying to get my novel done before May so that it's done before all of the exams start. D': That'd be horrible if I was still writing because I'd have to postpone until the exams were finished.

And, it's not really a writer's block, more like a natural adversion to any decent idea. I get a lot of theories in my head, a lot of scenes and "what ifs", but they're really difficult to make anything out of, so I have to fight to them weave them into some kind of coherent plot (which doesn't really work). I'd like my work to be all about the 'ideas', like questioning the difference between good and evil etc., but most readers don't want that, so it's a little difficult. XD

Ah I see..
My earlier ones are more 'who am I?' sort of thing .. finding identity through crisis, whether it be personal or global.. xD;
But with the Drag Shergi Mysteries its more 'what is reality?' along with how darkness can change people's hearts and they can either chose to fight it or succumb to the craziness .. most people break heh

Yeah, gotta hate having exams or anything big that makes it so you have to postpone D= with cashiering I pretty much had to stop through the whole lovely back to school time.. cause it was so long and exhausting

For me characters make plot .. which is why I like the short stories.. Character has one idea and does something which rules the story .. sometimes to a good place many times to a not so good place

heh -nods- yes, I have to stop replying here and disappear into the story .. xD; I have a lot of stuff to catch up on ..

Hehe, alright. I should be doing an English essay, since I can't write until it's finished and it's getting on 9.00pm. XD

Heh well -shrugs- I just have to continue on trying to work at it -nods- I have the set up of a good line of action to develop the plot .. making it more scary (more or less lol) then.. climax! And done

I wish I could get my novels down to a length like yours. Mine, although coherent enough, seem to stretch without my planning them to. rolleyes

lol I like my short stories .. they're about 20k words more or less and under 100 pages -nods- and I can always put them together later to make an epic novel! xD or so I try lol

Yes, I hope so.. heh we have subtle accident when Drag arrives there the second day .. then now I'm writing a bigger accident .. but they get brushed off which leads eventually to an 'accident' that's too blatant to not be an accident! The person attacking since the beginning has another major break down and goes nuts on the stage .. heh should be fun, yes

That sounds like awesome fun. =O I'm jealous. My murder-is-witnessed scene seems very pale in comparison. I'd quite like to read some of your work actually, it sounds really interesting. And you have so many ideas, I'm very envious.

I think it would be awesome if at the end you pull them all together in like... a book of short stories or something. Tales that all link together very very neatly. <3 XD *is a geek*

Overall in most of my writing .. if you take the whole set there are pieces that refer to other pieces .. and other people in different timelines/countries .. xD I love doing that

I have on Lulu all of my work done there available for download .. though heh as I'm trying to sell it, tis $2 american per book for the short ones then for the 4 book collection tis $5 american I think

I'm planning on releasing the Drag Shergi Mysteries in 3 small collections of 4 books a piece .. after that I'm releasing the 13 book collection -nods- with them since as it progresses the gap between times when each story happens lengthens the connection isn't entirely so much so .. -shrugs-

The very very last one on my lulu page isn't supposed to be there -scowls- it's being edited so I'm waiting for that before I upload it, but I dunno why it popped up there as available (Drag Shergi 09) .. bah

Haha, well I should probably try and get some money together then. (I'm actually poor. xd I spent all my money on tickets to see Wicked again in London in May >_>). I really should learn how to save my money, especially if I'm going to university next year. D:

The best thing about Lulu is I think they actually have their presses in different places where they have their distribution to cut down on cost .. the availability they claim to is wonderful

Haha, that'd be great. I want my second novel finished by the summer so that for the SuWriMos I can start the third novel. xd I want the whole trilogy done by the end of the summer, hopefully. =O

That sounds like so much fun to write. XDD

And yes, it's true. Tonight has been as close to golden as it's going to get for me. =P
