What did I say? surprised
Something about how perfection is not possible within this realm of experience and how I shouldn't worry about the visit and all.

So I'm sitting in a college computer lab and a very important-sounding alarm goes off.

We're all still sitting here.

Fire safety anyone?

rofl

My college seems to be the complete opposite. The alarm goes off and everybody runs towards the door, leaving me standing there in amazement. "It's just a drill, everyone. They announced that we'd have one... sweatdrop "

Yeah... except that apparently this wasn't a drill. Some computers caught fire in the library. All the staff quite duly and properly obeyed the fire alarm. Almost none of the students did. Isn't that just a tad worrying?

Nothing serious came of it, but it makes you wonder...

Why is wicca so bad?
Because it seems to attracts emogothicfluffies! scream

Fiddler has mentioned something similar to this.

But as they say- the devil is in the details. twisted

And if I weren't such a DA, life would be rather dull.

Oh, umm... redface If I would say something like, "If two say, so it must be true" it would be an appeal to popularity, right? sweatdrop (I'm still learning... sweatdrop )

eek For some reason, I had the impression it was a drill in your case, probably because fires on campus (outside of labs) are rare, at least in the schools I've attended. That IS awful worrying...hopefully not a lot of damage was done.

How did the computers catch fire? Just due to overheating?

In other news, my English teacher is currently screaming at us, telling us we're all bad little plagiarism-commiting college students. The fact that she's making such broad generalizations about the whole class is really ******** me off, and I'm considering writing her a letter. Note that this as been every single one of her classes since August. I'd like a teacher who actually teaches the material (gasp), not someone lecturing us every class (three times a week) like we don't have any idea what we're doing. stressed

Appeal to Popularity- maybe, but you need more than two people.

As a side note- I tend to think of General ED as a lost cause

Hot coffee + Hot chocolate = Hot Mochalate

Hot Mochalate + Saturday morning = heart

And has anybody else noticed how easy it is to manipulate the daily chance to give you gold?

Not yet. But then, I haven't been paying much attention to that thing.

Yeah. They got all new dell computers last year and two of them caught fire in the library. Thank god none of the books did...

On the subject of computers, my horrible aul dinosaur now has a super fancy huge new flatscreen monitor. Just like the ones in college! Now all the type looks small...

Ah the eye pain! gonk
