Flamewind sat down next to her. "I got lot in twolegplace..." she sighed. "But I found a new type of prey! It can only be found in twolegplace! I call it a parakeet!"

"You were lost in twolegplace? That's awful!!! Did a twoleg hurt you while you were there?" Kindleheart asked, showering Flamewind with questions as her curious nature came afloat, something it hadn't done in some time.

((Frostfang might be leaving FireClan and Sharpclaw, Blazingwhisper, Kindleheart, Flamewind, Silverkit and Duskwind are in the nursery talking. All in all, besides Frostfang leaving and the sudden return of Duskwind nothing much... oh, and Flamewind was lost in Twolegplace, but I don't know much of that either. xd ))

"I'm not hungery,"Sharpclaw said quietly and pushed the prey to Silverkit.

Kindleheart glanced sideways at Sharpclaw and then back at Flamewind. She was still angry with Sharpclaw for taking Frostfang's deserting of the clan so lightly and dismissing her as if she had been an apprentice, but she decided to bite her tongue and say nothing. After all, nothing would be gained from inclan fighting.

"I'll see you later Silverkit,"Sharpclaw said quietly to the kit then got up and walked out of camp.

Blazewhisper looked longingly at her sister when she left. she was just as angery with her as kindleheart but in the end that was her sister. and that was something she couldnt lose. she followed her. "where are u going sis"

"Not like it would matter,"Sharpclaw said quietly so her sister could hear her.

blazewhisper walked in frount of hes sister and sat down. "it does 2! now where are u going? u know u could shake me off sicne whe were kits." she purred.

Kindleheart watched as the two sisters walked away and she sighed. Blazewhisper had been right, she had been spending more and more time alone ever since she had turned into a warrior, a fact that she had completely dismissed until now. She stretched lightly and lay down, taking in some sunlight, tired after the day's events.

Every day was the same.

Or at least, since she could remember. All the other kittens, always playing carelessly, rolling on the ground, grabbing each other's tails. They seemed not to care much about whatever happened outside their little world of games.

The big ones. They call this place the nursery. The she-kit thought, wondering what that meant. She wanted to know more about the big cats, and what they were up to, but never dared to approach them, least to ask them a thing. What was she doing in that place? For how long would she be staying? And the most important of all questions, how come her tail was so short, compared to the rest? She wished she were as big as those others whom she could only observe from her usual corner.

To Rabbitkit, the outside world seemed like an incomprehensible web of riddles she wanted to--

Suddenly, something got her attention. It was a big cat, one she had seen before, from afar. However, this was the first time she observed her carefully. She was lying down in front of the nursery, and the sunlight hit her straight in the face and part of her back.

Aside from the interesting mix of colors of her fur, there was something else interesting about that big one. She appeared to be someone she could trust. Rabbitkit didn't know why, but she wanted to get closer, and ask her all those questions that always wandered her mind. Maybe she can tell me...

And without a thought, Rabbitkit approached the cat of red and black fur, and long, fluffy tail.

Hello there! This is my first post here. I am Rabbitkit, and I'm a very curious and shy kitten. I'll want to ask many questions. But often, I'll desist of the idea due to my many insecurities. This is where my story begins!)

Kindleheart opened one eye lazily as she heard Rabbitkit approaching. She gave a small encouraging purr to the youngster as she got up and glanced at her. Rabbitkit was very young, even by nursery standards, and like herself, she had something that made her stand out in a crowd. Her tail.

"Good day Rabbitkit," she mewed goodheartedly to the kit as she flicked her tail, beckoning her to sit next to her.

Just a few steps from her now, Rabbitkit came to a stop. The big one had just greeted her. She knows my name!

"Hi..." Rabbitkit whispered.

Eyeing the big one shyly, the kit sat down. Then she spoke again.

"Y-you... You know my name?"

(I know it should be meows and purrs instead, but this is my first time roleplaying as a cat. Still gotta get used to it.)

Duskwind acknowledged Rabbitkit with a nod and tried to make sense of the conversation that had apparently been going on.
