Frostfang looked over at the fox. She didnt really care anymore. About nothing really. She had been in the prosess of closeing herself off from the word for moons and no one notice. It took them this long to figure it out. 'They must not care at all. No one. Why cant I be something useful like a raddit. Then at least they could eat me and put me to use.' She thought looking at the ground.

blazepaw walked out side the clan. she was looking for her sister and kindleheart. she soon picked up the orange cats senct and ran off. but why was it at the border?

Silverkit stopped crying, then she thought of something. If i'm useless, then no one would notice if i left or care if i did... she thought. Then she carefully felt her way around, useing scent, touch, and sound. She managed to get out of the den and out of camp. Then she just kept going, tripping now and then. "wow... if i could see, this place would be beautiful..." Silverkit said to herself as she just kept going.

((will anyone notice a small, blind kit walking/tripping in the territory aimlessly?...))
((hm... i really wonder where i'm- *hits a tree* going.... ow....))

Firesong looked around frantically. Where had silverkit gone? She picked up the kit's scent and ran off in pursuit.

Soon, she caught up with Siverkit, who seemed to be ...having difficulies with a tree...

"Silverkit! Where do you think you are going?!!"

Silverkit got up and still walked off. "I'm going anywhere..." Then she didn't feel a dip, but fell down into a rabbit hole. "ow...." She tried to get out then, but she couldn't find the entrance. "um.... i'm stuck...." Silverkit mewed.

"cute." Firesong was annoyed. "Silverkit, yes, you're blind. You act like it's the end of the world. I mean, Echowind was blind and she became-never mind" she said quickly. She fished Silverkit out of the rabbit hole and carried her back to camp. Placing her in the medicine cat's den, she checked the kit for injuries. "you're too young to leave camp!"

Silverkit just sat there, then thought of what firesong was going to say about Echowind. "i'm sorry.... but can you tell me about Echowind?"

"Frostfang we do care about you,"Sharppaw said to Frostfang when she saw her eyes.

Firesong sighed. Well, she didn't want to fil the kit with impossible hopes, but, just maybe, it wasn't impossible. After all, Echowind had done it.

"Well, Echokit was born blind, like you. She felt that she was useless. One day, the medicine cat chose Echopaw as his apprentice. She was actually devastated. She was so worried that she would mess up, especially when she knew that she didn't have the medicine cat's ability to communicate with Starclan."

She stopped for a moment, left the den, and walked back in with a fat thrush.
she placed it between them, and invited Silverkit to share.

"Now, where was I?"

"You said that she was devastated. She was worried that she would mess us because she couldn't talk to Starclan..." Sliverkit said to Firesong. "what did she do?"

Sharppaw looked at Frostfang "you can't leave we need you,please don't leave,"Sharppaw said.

Blazepaw soon came to the seen running at her top speed. she herad kindleheart and shrappaw trying to stop some one. is jumped over a tree and soon landed behind frostfang growling. "im not going to let you go if you like it or not! we all need you in this clan. and i refuse to let you go with out a fight! i may not know what you went threw or why your leaving but we dont want you to go." Blazepaw said growling. if she had to fight frostfang to make her stay to was more then reday to.

"You said that she was devastated. She was worried that she would mess us because she couldn't talk to Starclan..." Sliverkit said to Firesong. "what did she do?"

"She decided to do her best. She learned well, and soon could do great with injuries. But she still felt like something was wrong. She was too biased, despite her best attempts. A medicine cat must look beyond clan boundries. One day, a Badger broke into camp, and most of the warriors were out hunting or patroling. Echowind saved all the kits that day, because she sensed the badger ahead of time, and got everyone away."

Firesong stopped for a moment, lost in thought. "Eyesight isn't everything. You can learn only so much by seeing something, and sometimes, it's easy to miss things when you think you can notice everything. It was because of the other senses that she saved those kits that day. She decided to become a warrior instead. She actually did well. It took alot of persistence. She got in alot of trouble. And she failed several times. But she didn't quit. And eventually, she succeeded. She fought alongside her littermates as a warrior."

Firesong looked at the little kit. She hoped that Echowind's story would help her, but was afraid that Silverkit would be overzealous.
