Frostfang jumped when she heard another cats voice, "Nothing wrong..." she meowed avoiding eye contact.

Kindleheart walked over to where Sharppaw and Frostfang sat. She had decided to come hunting this way, far from the camp to commemorate her being a warrior. Seeing Frostfang in the PebbleClan border she hurried towards them. "What's going on here?" she asked both Sharppaw and Frostfang, her eyes narrowing curiously. "PebbleClan and FireClan are at war now. Wouldn't hunting in PebbleClan territory only aggravate the war?" she asked them, trying to avoid the other possible answer to why Frostfang was pass the borderline.

((Wow...i've missed alot...and i think Silverkit could learn to hunt by sound and smell alone...those senses would become stronger, with her blind.))

Firesong yawned and walked out of the den. She felt great after finally getting some rest.

Silverkit still 'stared' at the ground. What if i really CAN'T become a warrior?... What if i am useless my entire life?... The questions played over and over in her head.

The fox padded up to Kindleheart, Sharppaw, and Frostfang and sat down just on the other side of the Border and nodded.

Kindleheart glanced over to the fox, her hackles raising a bit at the sight of it. 'What an overpowering stench... I can't believe this is what I was the others teased me in my looks when I was younger,' she thought, her nose screwing up. She took a calming breath and walked to the border, staring the fox straight in the eyes, looking for any sudden movement the fox might make. She recognized it as the fox that had taken Diamondkit some moons ago. (( Yes, I am fast fowarding. Do tell me if I am wrong to assume that the kits are already almost apprentices... sweatdrop )) Her hackles raised lightly again as she yowled at it. "Where is the kit you stole? Finished eating it and back for more?! Well all that is waiting for you is a beating if you dare cross the border you foxdunged animal!"

(( I believe that the clan doesn't know that Diamondkit is alive yes? ))

Firesong looked over at Silverkit, sitting alone. She was staring off into space, looking forlorn. "Hey, Silverkit, let me take another look at those eyes." She looked into Silverkits' cloudy eyes. Definitely. She wasn't seeing anything. 'well, it was Dewpool's first litter, and it's not like she would rest. Besides, that was a lot of kits!' She sighed. "Silverkit, I think your eyes just never fully developed. They didn't get damaged or anything, they just didn't get finished." She looked sadly at the little kit.

Silverkit froze in horror. "i'm... i'm never going to see?.... I'm never going to be able to look at the world? the forest? the water? my-.... my siblings? or mother?..." Silverkit asked, more to herself than Firesong. "i'm..... blind?...."

Firesong looked with pity at Silverkit. She couldn't imagine her own life without sight. And, of course, what could she possibly say to make this any better?

Silverkit collapsed and started crying. "i'll... never..... see..... anything.... any.... one.... I'm.... useless....." she managed to say inbetween sobs.

"no, i did not Eat Diamondkit, she is in pebbleclan where she needs to be." the fox said "i would never eat anything so disgusting as a kit. now if you want her, talk to pebbleclan, i have no quarrel with Fireclan" She said padding away. "goodbye now"
