I have a friend whose dream goal as a geneticist would be to unlock/create genetic code for unusual colors in humans. I'd vote for turning them all colors of the rainbow permanently.

It'd be a little bit more practical to program assembler's to insert pigment into your skin to turn it strange colors. Plus, the older generations wouldn't be jealous that way. Who's ever really wanted to turn a nice shade of blue? Anyone other than me? ninja

EDIT: I've actually thought of that one as well. It'd be kinda tough though, since the genetic material it's fource feeding your cells would have to mesh perfectly with your own (ie. no bad side effects) while propogating itself. But then we have the whole issue of succeptibility to infection...so you could unwittingly spread your color to other people. Heh...that'd be silly. "WHAT!!! How the hell did I turn purple?! I thought I was red!" *promptly runs out of the room*
