Opalkit heard a mew coming from outside the nursery and lifted her head. She fell off her mothers face and began to squeal.

Flamewind watched the kits for a while, and later told Dewpool, "I'm gonna go hunting, want something?"

Jaypaw Was pacing around the camp waiting for something to do. She hadnt been able to go on the dawn or hunting patrol nd she wished she could go out of camp and hunt without a warrior.

"No thank you" Dewpool said, "im fine"

"no your not" Floodriver said as he padded in and nuzzled his mate "Get her a thrush Flamepaw" Floodriver said.

Sharppaw walks into the nursery and walks up to her Mother/mentor and gives her a quick lick. "So these little balls of fur are my new sisters and brothers?"Sharpaw said with a purr.

Silverkit mewed again, wanting to feed.

((oks. so i'ms alright. can i go back to Dewpool now?))

"I'm Flamewind now." she hissed to Floodriver. She stalked off. When she came back a few seconds later, she had a plump thrush and two mice. She gave one mouse to Floodriver, and the thrush to Dewpool. She ate the other mouse herself.

((Why do you guys always post when i'm not on?! gonk )) Firesong looked Silverkit up and down. "I suppose you can go back to Dewpool, but if you start feeling bad, come back and tell me, okay?" She looked over at Opalkit, who seemed to be having some breathing troubles. "Dewpool, how long has Opalkit been like that?"

Silverkit got up and tried to walked, fell down a few times, but eventually got out of the medicine cat den, but fell outside and didn't get up. Silverkit mewed pitifully.

((grr.... newborn, remember? I CAN'T SEE A DARN THING! HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO GET TO THE NURSERY WITHOUT RUNNING INTO EVERYTHING???))

Kindlepaw's whiskers twitched with amusement as she saw the young kit stumble blindly. She got up from beside Blazepaw, giving her a happy purr, and walked over to Silverkit. She carried her in her mouth with difficulty due to her stunted growth size and got to Dewpool.

"I beleef diz iz urz," she muffled to Dewpool once in the nursery, setting Silverkit next to Dewpool. She then turned to find Blazepaw, happy for her friend that her sister was alright.

Silverkit crawled around and found a place to suckle and began to feed.

Firesong stared off into space. She couldn't help but think about Pebbleclan. It was true that they had a smaller territory than Fireclan, though they had been rather rash in thier decision to kidnap the kits. She was gald they were all back safe, but knew it was only a matter of time before trouble flared up again...

When Silverkit was done, she crawled a little bit away from her mother and fell asleep.
