I'm staying out of the Item list dramas going on now...I just like to see who'd make the list and be done with it. Kinda makes me glad I never made a topic for anything in like a year. xd Then again, I never really have much interest to say anything interesting at all. sweatdrop
Also, my mom showed me in her fern, the nest of 5 baby sparrows. emotion_kirakira They have feathers on them now and they're so cute.

Slick Southpaw Pissing contests in the GCD make me laugh when it comes to "who owns the thread"
I don't think anyone should own threads nor should people be making the threads ahead of time when the RIG, EI, whatever isn't released/evolved yet just to insure that they're the ones making it. Srsly, it's not going to make me donate to them any more than I'm already not.

Supposed to go to Wildwood tomorrow and hoping it'll be clear enough to enjoy. :c
(wildwood nj is a seaside resort town, located near the southern barrier islands of the state. There's a bunch of boardwalk amusment parks and it's pretty nice!)
ACCORDING TO WEATHER CHANNEL it'll be a High of 75 and partly cloudy. It'd be nice if it were since I leave on Thursday.

Sachie Whitby Halfling Heroine ((You called for an elven knight of the kitty kingdom~? cat_wink )) I never realized that the formula itself was so rare. That's crazy! How is anyone meant to craft a pair of backwings if they can't even get their hands on the formula? I'm afraid I completely out of the loop as far as alchemy is concerned, I thought it was the components were the problem. No wonder some people feel so bitter about the backwings issue. Don't worry, you don't come across as being preachy. If I had any interest in crafting backwings, I'd feel pretty disappointed too. We can only hope that Gaia will eventually tweak the difficulty to a more realistic level. It's a shame I don't have my old computer anymore, otherwise I could find some of my newbie avatars. I remember my avatar always used to be dressed in blue to match my old username.(Aquadreamer00) Back then, I thought I had the most original name ever! emotion_dealwithit It used to be a formula and component problem, but I would say that all 99% of alchemy problems are in regards to formulas. [The other 1% is alchemy formulas with recipes that call for one or more RIG items that have the potential for extinction.] The only "fix" they've done in terms of formulas is that they've taken a bunch of the formulas used to make certain alchemy formulas out of the alchemist case [i.e. the formula RIG box] and made them ultra rares in the daily chance only. For example - http://www.gaiaonline.com/marketplace/itemdetail/75001I own one of this formula but to make Glacemella, I am going to need 10 more. The idea that I'm going to have to raise 300mil just to buy enough formulas [on top of the 220 sugar crystals] is completely ludicrous. I'm very tempted to take my formula to the Alchemy Exchange and see if someone will trade me the Formula 10: Nice Suit for Work for it. [Sorry if I got a bit ranty there as I really cannot talk about what Gaia did with formulas without getting frustrated and ranty.] Gaia tries to fix alchemy, and then by 'fixing' it they actually make the problem worse! Oh dear. gonk Also, I would have thought you'd only need one formula per item. Why would you need 11 formulas to make 1 item? That's crazy! No wonder you're feeling so frustrated with alchemy. If I were you I'd just sell your formula and try for that Nice Suit for Work. Lifes too short to be giving yourself grief over the broken alchemy system~

Halfling Heroine Gaia tries to fix alchemy, and then by 'fixing' it they actually make the problem worse! Oh dear. gonk Also, I would have thought you'd only need one formula per item. Why would you need 11 formulas to make 1 item? That's crazy! No wonder you're feeling so frustrated with alchemy. If I were you I'd just sell your formula and try for that Nice Suit for Work. Lifes too short to be giving yourself grief over the broken alchemy system~ You do need only one formula per item. However formulas are used up each time the item is successfully crafted thus if you need to make more than one of that component, you need more than one formula. [Gaia isn't like when I played World of Warcraft where getting your alchemy formula meant that it would be forever in your repritore of things you could make.] To make Glacemella, you need: Formula 10: Glacemella x1 Azuramella x1 Biancamella (any gen) x1 Minthamella x1 Candy Mountain x10 450,000g Candy Mountain is an alchemy component that is crafted out of other components, for each Candy Mountain you need the following: Formula 4: Candy Mountain x1 Banana Seed x1 Cinnamon x5 Crystal Crab Claw x1 Glittering Sequins x1 Green Leek x1 Licorice x5 Spaghetti Tree x1 Sugar Crystals x20 Tasty Ham x1 10,000g But wait, Minthamella is also alchemy crafted and to make that, you need the following: Formula 10: Minthamella x1 Biancamella (any gen) x1 Mint Buttercream Rose x2 Mint Frilled Hat x3 Candy Mountain x1 200,000g So the final total of everything you'll need to make just one Glacemella: Formula 4: Candy Mountain x11 Formula 10: Glacemella x1 Formula 10: Minthamella x1 Azuramella x1 Biancamella (any gen) x2 Mint Buttercream Rose x2 Mint Frilled Hat x3 Minthamella x1 Banana Seed x11 Cinnamon x55 Crystal Crab Claw x11 Glittering Sequins x11 Green Leek x11 Licorice x55 Spaghetti Tree x11 Sugar Crystals x220 Tasty Ham x11 760,000g I'm in the process of selling off everything I have so far for making Glacemella because I agree with you that the broken alchemy system has reached the point where it's not worth it to be giving myself grief or stress over it.... still going to level up to 8 to make the coat of the great war [as I have everything I need except components that don't come from from the rarer caches.] Since the formula for nice suit for work is like RIG pet rare, I won't even level past 8 until I get it. There's really no point.
