AHH BELEIVE ME , once you get to 21 you dont feel old ,..or older ..depending ,

@ meredy , ahhh dont be ashamed of your age and art , alot of people do that , and hide their age and such cuz they feel like they should be better -but it all depends on your training , influances , how you learn , i didnt draw untill the middle of highschool *shrugs* some people started younger then me ,

but everyone has skills , i see people younger then me who have like ..FAB coloring omfg , i couldnt even hope to be that good -but i may be stronger in different areas - and ever since taking school i can see the flaws in people who i thought were GODS ( which alot of them still are )

but , ye know ? no ones perfect , but age does not = art , experiance / willingness to learn and seeking out how to learn = art .

@meredy: DD8 Pach said it all. Age shouldn't matter. I'm guilty of feeling that way too, but there's nothing that can be done, so it just motivates me to try to improve and practice even more.

lol , really ' feeling old ' is all in your head , its not BAD getting older , i find people who are artists tend to take it more seroiusly because alot of people think that your age should reflect your art or some jazz

People sometimes made a big deal of my age when I was younger, and it irritated me, so I figure I shouldn't make a big deal of anyone else's age, 'cause not only would it maybe irritate them, it'd be a bit hypocritical of me rofl

And that attitude feels kind of limiting. I dunno how to explain it...

well i think its more the wish that i had cared about drawing at that age, and wondering what my skills woul dbe now if i had been draw since that age... 8D;

really im jealous of them finding talent so young! and wishing i had! at 13 i was still playing with barbies off in my own world...(i grew up slow D: )

but i have issues with wishing i had been more aware of things in general at a young age, because im paying for it now... if i had thought things through i would be a junior in art school not getting ready to go intot he navy then art school... im trying to deal with my regret issues... but its hard D: cause one of the things that set me back with school was a death in the family(but it was mostly my own fault) >_<;;

Haha we're all having early-life crises (I so butchered that spelling)
Nah, I think its pretty fantabulous to be in my twenties, I wouldn't want to be a teen again for anything. I still play with toys and junk but now I don't have a curfew and I don't need to ask permission to do anything.

The only things I can't do are rent a car and run for president. Oh well.
