((Since no one has done anything with this yet, I'm taking over! twisted ))

Castle Oblivion stands alone in a swirl of darkness. What was once a beautiful training grounds for future key wielders of light, now sits a twisted fortress, all traces of its former glory vanished.

Within these walls, one can delve into their innermost memories and relive them almost exactly as they happened. Memories can be cruel, though, as what may have actually happened, could be much different than what our memories tell us.

Each step taken in this castle can only bring you further and further into confusion and despair as every scrap of memory becomes lost in the tangled maze. However, Organization XIII discovered a way to circumvent this through Namine, and her final act here was to free the many rooms from their curses. The cards still hold the keys here, but no longer does one lose themselves here.

Each memory takes the form of a card, but not every memory will be relived the way it happened.

Step inside, if you wish to test your heart. See if you're strong enough to break the Chains of Memory that bind us all.

Therin sat in the old Observation room patiently waiting for someone to make themselves known. He knew this was the only place they would come.

Xanov walked out of the portal and into the white entrance room of Castle Oblivion he looked around and saw that Therin wasn't around. "Therin!" Xanov shout in hopes he hears him. "Hey! Mauka wasn't in Twilight Town but we gained a possible member!"

Therin appeared at the entrance and threw Xanov a card.
"Here... You'll need it to navigate... and to survive."

The card depicted Xanov's key blade with a number on it. When touched, it flashed briefly to reveal a small deck of similar cards of varying numbers, but all with the same picture.

Xenon walks out of the portal and observes her surroundings. She whispers to herself, "So this is it..." After giving the place a good look she then turns her attention to the others.
"Oh, hello."

Xanov grabbed the cards and watched as it glowed to turn to a similar group of cards. He knew castle oblivion had the card rule but he never imagined it still existed. He put the cards in his pocket and faced Therin. "Therin this is Xenon."
Then faced Xenon. "Xenon this is Therin."

Therin looked the girl over. "Well... this might take a while." He muttered to himself as he strode towards her.
"I'm going to need to sample your memories to craft cards for you. It won't hurt and it won't take much." He stated reassuringly. He placed a hand on the girl's head and delved into her mind, looking for what he needed.

Xenon makes a move to step back but stops herself and takes a deep breath. She closes her eyes and relaxes so that Therin can do what is needed.
"What kind of memories?" she curiously asks.

Therin took only a second before he had what he needed. "Combat." He explained as he stepped back and began tapping into the magic of the Castle. "The cards I just gave Xanov allow him to fight here, and I have similar cards that allow me to fight as well. So, for you to be able to defend yourself, you need cards as well, but they can't be made without the memories of their users. This makes each deck unique and only usable by their owners."

He finished the cards just as he finished explaining and handed them to her. "Now... I have an Idea, Xanov," He declared, turning to him. "but I fear you'll be against it. However, this will only help with your cooperation."

Xanov arched a brow at that but then pieced what he believed Therin was thinking. "You want me to go through Oblivion in hops that we can recover my memories?" He figured it would help Xanov remeber his life as Ovan and give a much clearer aspect on Mauka.

Therin shook his head. "No, but if you want, we can do that as well. What I'm actually looking for are specific memories, the one's about Mauka." He explained. "I'm asking you to relive everything you've been through about Mauka. If we can understand him, then perhaps we can find him."

Xenon took the cards given to her and inspected them as she listened to their conversation. To be quite honest, she is fascinated in the purpose they serve though she does not fully comprehend it just yet. While turning them over and over in her hand, she then begins to mildly understand why Xanov first questioned her about Mauka and looks to him.
"This Mauka... He's the one who turned you into a Nobody, I take it?"

Xanov curled his lip in disgust about that. Last he needed was more pain and anger to flood him but if he must. He must. "Yes...not only that he caused my memory loss. And killed my somebodies master." He didnt like the idea but must go through. "Where should i start Therin?"

"Oh..."
Xenon turns her gaze to the ground. At a loss for what to do or say she bites her lip. She knows she would feel bad for asking if she still had a heart but she hadn't known the answer in the first place. So what should she express?
"I... I'm sorry for asking. You obviously would prefer not speaking about it."
