The_Vortex:
1. A whirlwind, whirlpool, or similarly moving matter in the form of a spiral or column. In here that is chatter and it frequently moves in circles.
2. (figuratively) Anything that involves constant violent or chaotic activity around some centre. In here chaotic activity is commonplace.
3. (figuratively) Anything which inevitably draws surrounding things into its current. Gaia. Nuff said.
To elude the vortex Escape Velocity must be reached, this can only be achieved by travelling far enough away, fast enough and with a definite purpose. To achieve excape velocity from Gaia you'd need a REALLY good purpose xd None of the people in here have a good enough purpose or move fast enough to achieve Escape Velocity.
