Years ago people prospered in their way of life. The royal family was assisted by The Council in their decisions, with The Council often manipulating the royals to get what they want. Even with this, the Royal Family was well liked and took great care of their subjects, always trying to meet their needs. The King and Queen had two beautiful twin daughters, both adept in magic and raised by the Council to reign together in harmony. The economy flourished, and everyone was able to happily do what they wanted. To hear a complaint was a rare occurrence, and to not fix it right away was even rarer. But, as we all know, good things can not last forever.

One of the daughters vanished, sending the kingdom into turmoil and suspicion. Years went by with no sign of her, and instead, the other daughter was raised to rule the kingdom. The night before the Princess Luna's coronation, a vampire named Alyssia Night appeared out of nowhere with an army of soldiers bearing strange tattoos. She took over the kingdom, seemingly leaving nothing of the old rulers. Screams were heard for miles as the Vampire and her army gained control of the land. Everything had been going well.

Until now.

The world is filled with cries of fear and anguish as Alyssia rules with an iron fist. But even in the darkness a ray of hope can be found - The Lights. The Lights are a slowly growing group that is staying in hiding until they have enough force to take back their country. Luna, who escaped the castle and drew the rebels to her over the years, is finally emerging to take her kingdom back, even as she still searches for what happened to her lost sister. The Lights, while still much smaller than the Dark forces, are coming to fruition.

The War is eminent, the fate of the kingdom about to be written in blood.

So now you choose. Light, or Dark? This decision could destroy you.

2. This is a 3rd person RP and Semilit ok? I'm not gonna kill you for one-liners, as long as they don't happen for every post. We prefer a good paragraph. I'd appreciate the whole "" for talking, and use punctuation (Periods, !, and ?)

3. PG 15. Got it? Good. So that means you have to timeskip or take it to pm if all your romance stuff goes to far ;] Seriously though. Same with fighting, don't get all gruesome...

4. Godmodding = Bad. And Not allowed. So don't you dare do it.

5. Don't kill someone without their permission. Always ask and then make sure they update their characters profile if they are killed.


6. All characters must be original characters!

7. If you wish to be on the royal court, please message the respective leaders to ask for a position.

8. No modern technology - gas lights and such are fine, but this is not a world with electricity.

9. No double posting - you're characters can't be in more than one place at once.

10. We reserve the right to add/change any rules. We will usually send an announcement if we do an overhaul though!

Please PM one of us if you are unsure if anything you plan to do meets our expectations, although it should be fine if it follows the rules!
