• I couldn’t let her stay. I couldn’t let her stay with a man who used dark Arts to get what he wanted. So I told her “Evangeline, my darling dear, let me take you far from here. Let me take you where the darkness can’t touch you. Let me take you far from here.”
And with those words my dear Evangeline cried, “My lord, my love, my life, my lad. I am with child of that cursed man…”
“Then Evangeline, my darling dear, let me take you far from here!”
And so I took I took Evangeline that very night. My love and I strode through the night… But that twisted king Sent men and…things after us.
He sent the night so cold and dark. He sent the dead that wished to rest…he sent the undead…Oh god! I can still see those eyes!
So Evangeline and I sped through the night but they were coming fast and Evangeline’s child, still unborn, beat hard on her stomach walls.
“I can’t go on,” she cried in pain” So please my love, leave me and this b*****d Child to be slain!”
“Nay, nay, my love,” I called to her, “looks yonder! There our freedom lies!”
There stood the old oak that formed the borderline of this twisted land. Cross and his sins could not follow. She rised. The moon shone brightly on her elegant face.
“Haste!” she cried,” haste and we shall be free!”
But the night was not kind to us. Nay, we were caught, but so close to the end.

They dragged my poor Evangeline away.

I tried to get her back. I fought and nearly died. As I lie in my own Blood I rasped” I must not die!”
As the night grew to dark for my weary eyes to see a voice asked, “Why?”
“I must<’ I choked,” for her… to set her free, so that we may be happy.”
It laughed,” then try,” it said as pain seared through my bloody neck.
When I awoke I felt alive and also quite dead. I went back for Evangeline only to find that now, now she was quite dead… but her child was alive and well.
What’s that you say? How am I alive? Why sir, can’t you see? I’m actually quite dead.
