I'm in search of sunrise,
seeking those lovely azure fields,
a warm and calm respite,
from this never ending plight.
Time rotates into infinity,
endlessly blacker than black,
I guess I'm not that bold,
not courageous to move forward,
not cowardly enough to move back,
when will I move from this forever stance?
I'm in search of sunrise,
seeking those lovely azure fields,
but all that lays before,
is flat rises of shattered steel.
I can't climb high enough,
nor can I climb them all.
I'm in search of sunrise,
seeking whatever is beyond these broken fields.
