• You can hear it, can’t you?
    It sounds like bells
    Softly making their sounds in the wind
    But these aren’t bells
    As I’m sure you are aware

    These soft sounds that lull me to sleep
    So soothing and calming
    Like my mother’s heartbeat
    And though these sounds are more erratic
    One can’t help but agree

    Now the sounds are stopping
    Slowly dwindling away
    I find my eyes heavy
    Sleep setting in
    Just as the rain stops
