I told you goodbye
As I walked out the door,
Crying
I said I never wanted to see you again
You tried to stop me
But I wouldn’t listen
And I thought I had lost you forever
Then I found someone else
I thought I was happy
Until it ended
As I felt no hope
I started to cry
Then I saw you
With your arms out
Willing to help
I ran up to you and gave you a hug
I said I was sorry
And it will never happen again
Then you said baby it’s ok
I will always be here for you
