Sadness radiates from the small girl
Wrapped in her bed cover
Laying in a comforting curl
How can she be so distressed?
She longs for someone to love her
And for sincere happiness
She takes a rest
Escapes to her dream
There are no restraints
She abandons her care
Goes to where things aren’t what they seem.

- Title: Overdocing Sleep
- Artist: SimplyAh-mazing
- Description: I wrote this poem to express that I was feeling that everyone was chasing after what they felt was sane or normal but once they are alone it's suddenly a whole new story. Sometimes the only legal escape is sleep. It's my first posted poem please be gentle with any criticism.
