Dearly Departed

• Description: i wrote this originally in april 2006 and the poem hasn't changed much if at all during that time.
  
  i orignally submitted it to allpoetry.com under then pen name "Rogue Shadow" which is my pen name and what i go by on almost every other site other than gaia and where my webcomic his hosted. the poem speaks for itself as far as meaning goes, and it is (originally) dedicated to my grandmother for the loss of my grandfather back in 2001.

Dearly Departed

Dearly departed love.
May you never be forgotten,
Even though you are now gone.
May your legacy live on.

The friends you have made,
The achievements you have gotten,
Everything you have done,
Shall be forever remembered.

Your last resting place,
Your grave marker,
May it be a sacred everlasting home,
Beloved friend.

We will miss you dearly.
We shall always love you.
Past your last breath,
And beyond the grave.
