CHINA DOLL
Broken
and left to mend
Alone
with no helping hand
A broken doll
with no hope at all
One fatal crash
no more than trash
Once beautiful and so proud
but my vanity spoke too loud
No more voice
no more eyes
Should I give up
drink from Death's cup
I might be broken
but I'm not weak
Again I shall walk tall
no longer heed taunting calls
Again I'll be whole
soon I'll be a mended doll

- Beautiful. When I saw the rhyme scheme, I was about to automatically dismiss this as another poet-wannabe poem. Sorry, I'm a bit overly critical at times. But for this particular poem, I THANK YOU for proving me wrong. That was absolutely beautiful.
