• You know, I entered Basic Training in January this year. Jan. 11th to be exact. And now, here I am three months later in AIT, looking back and reminiscing on those nine weeks. I don't really have any Spring Break stories, or any plans. I'm the property of the U.S. Army as of right now and don't get to have any vacation. And you know what, I'm okay with that. I'm sitting here, right now, posting this, but tomorrow I'll be training to go out there and fight. Fight so that all of you here can enjoy your Spring Break, enjoy spending time with your friends, do what you want, and see what you want to see. And I'm proud to be doing it. There are some who would be all, 'Yeah, I'm awesome, I'm in the Army, etc...' But, it's actually thanks to each and every one of you guys that I'm here. You all gave me a reason to fight. You all gave me the strength to get back up on my feet when I fell. It's because of all you that I'm here. And all I have to say is...thank you. You guys keep on going, keep on striving, keep on dreaming. You guys continue to do what it is you feel you need to do. You guys look forward to a brighter future. Keep on going. As you guys have given me strength, I hope that I can inspire, teach, and strengthen you guys as well. Have fun, and good luck. Thank you again, and I promise to not fail any of you.
