- Me and my best friend did everything together. We hung out at school, we hung out at home. We were popular, along with our other friends, who I was close with too. Of course, we didn't have the same bond that Savannah and I had. We met in first grade, and hit it off really well. In second grade, we met Breanne, but we called her Brea. Brea was my second best friend, and sometimes we did stuff together. as the second grade year progressed, we added on to our 'friendship group". By the end of the year, we were a huge posse of little girls that ruled the second grade. Third grade was great. We made a few more friends, and I made an enemy. His name was Jack and he hated me. He would do everything he could to destroy my reputation. I ignored it all year, but in fourth grade, he brought it to the next level. Slowly, my not-as-close friends started doing their own things. I sometimes felt like they were avoiding me. By the middle of the year, Savannah told me her mom didn't want us to be friends. After a while, I convinced her to let me be her secret friend. Of course, we talked, but she didn't actually hang out with me. After a few months of putting up with that drama, her mom actually volunteered to help with a class party. When the other kids were doing other things, I asked her mom why Savannah wasn't allowed to be my friend. Her mom looked so confused. She told me Savannah said she didn't want to be my friend because it made her look bad. Of course then, I didn't know any words to describe her actions. I was upset for an entire year. Even longer, but during the entire year, I was trying to get her to be my friend again. In fifth grade, I finally moved, and made new friends, but I was so affected by her betrayal that I was trying to be too good of a friend, and some people found it weird. I had some good friends, but in eighth grade, which is the grade I'm in now, I grew apart from them. I had made new friends, and ditched the old. And I slowly realized I was just like Savannah. Even as enemies, we still were similar. I am trying to mend my relationships with my old friends, but it's hard because I've changed.

- Description: My old best friend and I had a lot in common. Then she betrayed me. This is real school drama, and I want to share it so people are more aware of their actions, because what I put up with was horrible, and I don't want it happening to others.
