• The next morning, Margret woke me up early to go see my father. I got my gown on, and went down the long staircase. My father was sitting on the throne.

As he saw me, he laughed, and gave me a hug as he said, "My dear! I've returned!" I smiled. He went on, "I've got a wonderful surprise for you!" I nodded. He smiled. "The time I was gone, I noticed something. Everyone has their time of death, and that's when I realized that I want to see my grandchildren before I die, and for that to happen, you need to get married and have children." I nodded. Where was this going? He went on, "So, that's when I found you a wonderful husband that you will marry when you are older!" I froze. My head was screaming in more ways than one.

"What?! Father! I don't even know the man, and you just go and say he's my husband!"
"Darling, do not worry, he's coming today to meet his new wife."
"No father! This can't happen! I'm already stressed about a lot of things, and you just drop this on me all of a sudden!"
"Well, now you don't need to worry on those things. Just your husband now."
"I don't even know his name father! Nor how old he is!"
"His name is Joseph! He's thirteen years old, a year older than you only!"
    "But!"
"Silence! You will marry him, and you will like it!"

I ran away from him up the stairs to my bedroom, crying. Margret followed me into my room. I slammed the door, but Margret was already inside. I jumped on my bed, and cried on the pillow.
