• "Well, here we are," said Jason. "It's not much, though."

I looked around, still dazed from the long walk. We were in front of a small house by the pier. Like that house by the lighthouse where the lighthouse keeper lives. The little house was so cute! The roof was a deep blue and the walls were a nice, fresh white. There was porch and a porch swing for two, which were also white. I was so focused on the house that I didn't notice that Michael and Jason were already going into the house.

"Come on, Miss Marella," said Gabriel as he took my hand. "You are a guest, so please come in." He led me to the house and opened the door.

The inside of the house was even better than the outside. The was a small staircase on the right side of the house which probably led to the attic. I walked in and saw that on the side there was a small kitchen and three bedrooms. There was also another door with a lock on it in the room where the kitchen was.

Michael stepped out of the kitchen, his arms filled with what I think was laundry. "Don't go up the staircase. That's my room," he said. "Well, if you don't have a place to stay, you can come up to my room," he added with a cocky grin. I blushed a deep red.

"Michael, don't be rude," scolded Gabriel. "I'm sorry, Marella. That boy is such a trouble maker. Your face is red, are you all right?" he said, worriedly. He then did what Jason had done earlier that day, but differently. He put his hand softly and gently on my neck. When he was done deciding whether I was okay or not, he pulled his hand away and gently got the stray lock of my black hair that had gotten out of place during the walk outside and gently put it behind my ear. His hand lingered for a moment on the side of my face, like he was trying not to make a move. My breathing became uneven as we just stood there like in our own private bubble.

Then, we heard someone clearing his throat, ruining the moment. Gabriel immediately pulled his hand away. I looked around and saw Jason and Michael starring at us. Jason looked uncaring and Michael was fuming. I blushed even more and I could feel the embarrassment showing on my face. Gabriel ran his hand through his long blond hair, embarrassed like me.

"Since you don't have a place to stay, we will give you a place to stay," Jason said tonelessly. He walked to the door nearest the stairs with Michael following close behind with the clothes still in his hands. "This is our guest room. You can stay here for as long as you like," he said as I walked inside.

"Thank you," I said gratefully. Well, I thought my tone sounded more... annoyed. Hopefully he doesn't notice.

The bedroom was small but was an okay size for me. Everything in this room was white except for the furniture which were a dark red- brown. It had a dresser and a small table and chair by the window. There was a bed for one in the middle of the room. On the opposite side of the room from the window was a bathroom. Sunlight poured in through the window, which seemed to make the room glow.

"Michael, please give Marella some clothes that she could wear," Jason added. Michael hurriedly put the clothes he was holding on the bed, his face showing no expression whatsoever. After he put the clothes down he walked to the door.

"If you need anything just ask," said Michael, his face still an unreadable mask. The mask was starting to piss me off, but I kept my anger to myself.

Jason also started to leave the room, but I had to ask him something. "Jason?" I whispered. He turned around and practically glared at me. "Did I do anything wrong?" I whispered again. "Please tell me."

"You didn't do anything wrong," he said softly walking toward me. I was sitting on the bed, so he sat next to me. "Don't ever blame yourself for everything."

"Okay," I said, looking down, "I'll try." I looked at him and saw that his face was just inches away from mine. I could feel the heat radiating from his body, that's how close we were. His breath blew against my face which, surprisingly, felt good.

He gently put his hand on the side of my face, like Gabriel had done a few minutes ago. His hand gently caressed my face like I was the most fragile thing in the world. I lightly placed my hand on his. His eyes were like little jewels. His eyes told me that he loved me. Wait, how could he love me? I pulled away. We have only known each other for a little time.

I heard a crash and a scream coming from upstairs. The scream sounded like Gabriel. "How dare you make a move on my girl!" I heard Michael yell. "That's not fair!"

"Oh gosh," I heard Jason mutter, "not again." He stood up and strode out of the room. I heard his footsteps going up the stairs and I heard to more crashes. "Stop it, you two," I heard him yell in a commanding voice. "This is so not the time!"

I heard Michael and Gabriel mutter, "Sorry..."

I giggled when I heard the obvious defeat in their voices. I laid on my bed and breathed low, even breaths. The bed I laid on felt like I was laying on feathers. I yawned and closed my eyes. Why was I so sleepy today? Oh well... I then drifted to sleep... Again.
