• The dark sky was black as pitch without one star in sight. The moon was nothing more then a faded mist, covered by the fog that held high up in the sky. The only light besides the faded moon was the small streetlamp that seemed so out of place on the street corner. The girl with the dark red hair stared up at it, her heavy breathing making small clouds as it escaped her mouth.

The time. The time was so close. Yet the girl stood there, not making one movement. Not from the twitch of her hand or the wind running around her like she wasn’t even there. Not moving one small strand of her blood red hair. The only way you could really tell that she was no ghost was because of how her chest moved up and down and the way it looked like her heart was beating on the inside of her throat and not her chest.

"You must...leave." She whispered to a shadowed figure that stood in front of her, blocking her way into the woods.

"And if I don't?" The figure responded, the voice low and raspy like he had just woken up. He stepped closer to her, still remaining out of the light. The girl growled inhumanly.

'If you don't, I'll kill you." She said through her teeth."Scum like you deserve to die." She shook her head back and forth so violently that her hair whipped against her sun kissed skin.

"No you won't! You don’t have the heart to." The shadowed figure probed, stepping close enough into the light that you could his darkened face. As the light hit against the shadow, for the slightest moment she could see the dark, blood red eyes glaring at her in both shock and furry.

She took a slight intake of breath that was both a growl and a calming breath."Try me." She whispered. Her hands clenching into fists as the skin crawling feeling started on the back of her hand and slowly crawled up her arms. It hurt, but she refrained from showing any sign of pain in her weakest moment as the spider like dots moved slowly.

The shadow smiled, flashing its bright white fangs."I'd love to." And within a moment, the shadow had lunged forward and was standing right in front of her."But, killing a dog like you would be much too easy." He grabbed her neck. The girl helpless. The crawling feeling hadn’t spread yet! She needed more time!

She glared at him, staling was the only option."Don't underestimate me." She warned as the feeling spread to her face, the whole rest of her body moving with the small dots."I'm much stronger then you think. Plus I have friends!" A smile that was half cunning and half crazy spread over her face. She laughed like a maniac until there was a loud popping sound and her skin fell around the feet of the dark being. The shadow jumped back in a crouching state, ready to attack.

This time, there was a she-wolf growling back at him, with white and red fur. Like a white wolf with splattered with blood.

In the distance, there was a chorus if howling and the moon disappeared behind even more mist, blacking it out. Growls echoed in the air, and the streetlamp suddenly went out.
