- So I'm not a good model for speed because most people take much more time to do their work than I do. Others I have talked to say that they take at least a week to do their work. My advice to you is to take some classes, figure drawing if you're old enough, and get started. Do character backgrounds, sketches, environment drawings... anything you think you need to get your projects going.

I usually spend an hour to do preliminary drawings and layout, two hours to ink, another hour on color ink, and two hours on color. With my schedule, it takes about three days to get any one page done. However, I also have a BFA in art and have had plenty of practice and critique for my work. Considering this, I still work very quickly in comparison to other people in my graduating class. - Report As Spam
