On the contrary she could hardly stand the bloodied remains of the victims of her kind.

So every once in a while she would set out to the Overworld to brake the traps meant for unsuspecting humans to save as many as she could.
An unexpected breaking of a branch startled her from her thoughts. There is someone in that bush. Heart rate quickening she wondered if someone had noticed her previous travels here and if she'd been made. - Report As Spam

- "There is one of them beasts, shoot, boy!" she heard an old rusty voice shout and then noticed a young male, probably no older than herself lock his eyes into hers over a hunting rifle. He was clearly frightened as evident from the shaking of the barrel. "It is no time for mercy, remember what they did to your Mama", the older man insisted. She had always expected to meet humans one day, to show them that she was different but she could understand the repulse they showed toward her.

But clearly, if they had located the portal, they must have noticed all the broken trapAs also, maybe she can reason with them.
She rose her hand as a peace offering while beginning "I don't mea-" BAM!
Eyes still locked within His, she started to fall backwards, slowly, like in a dream. She could feel the warm pressure of the blood forcing out from her neck where the pullet hit her.
