We have traveled through this unwelcoming desert for months now, and the fact that we just lost another man is even more unsettling. Killed by a poison needle hidden in his shirt. We must now finish the desert with not enough men to work the ship, and too many to feed well enough to work the ship. If we don't find food soon, we may not make it to the demigod in time.
