‘Intimidation.’ She thought and started blowing a bubble, seemingly calm about her pitch.
Shocking everyone, the bubble popped all over her face. Everyone soon began to laugh, even the girl at bat couldn't control herself. The pitcher wound up her arm and threw a fastball before anyone knew what was happening. The girl at bat swung her bat in pure reflex. The ball bunted straight towards first base. The player at first base snatched up the ball and slammed it onto the base. “Out!” - Date: 05/19/2009

- This one I think is a winner. It's original, it's likable, and it just completely works with the story. :3 That, and I have to disagree with nyru 007 as you never said that the pitcher was shocked, but rather the batter was. :3
