You know, it wasn't always like this. They used to have humans take care of their computer problems, calling on others with more knowledge in extreme cases. They gave these gurus the title "technical support"; unfortunately, the stupidity of the masses caused many to lose their tempers and their minds.
In response, the gods sent us down, angels well versed in the programming that keeps the whole universe in line, to help these poor humans.
