• I dreamt I was in a place filled with love,
Peace and harmony flew like a dove,
None was tainted, all seemed to sing,
But, like I said, 'twas only a dream.

I dreamt of loneliness and despair in my heart,
Of demons and pain that ripped me apart.
When all was tortured, I let out a sream,
But thankfully, 'twas only a dream.

I dreamt of a place, where my mind only knew,
Where knowledge was kept, senses askew.
In this place, madness was king,
I wonder, 'twas it only a dream?

I dreamt of a time, where you were with me,
Things we would do, God I felt free,
Oh, my heart itself spread wings!
But, alas, 'twas only a dream.

I dreamt of a world, where my heart was pure,
Where my mind and my soul were no long ubscure,
Where your eyes met mine, and our love was a stream,
My eyes now open: 'twas no longer a dream.
