Well, the lighting was definately used to your advantage, as it brings the color out wonderfully and casts nice dramatic

Hrm... Well, I hate shots of flowers and sunsets more than anything - immensely cliche. People are so obsessed with capturing classic beauty and they don't look for the new....
My rants aside, I see a lot of nice things going on. The placement of the flower is very aesthetically pleasing, and you've got yourself a good macro setting. I'm guessing you took this around sunset? - Report As Spam

- i dont care about cropping, i love it because u didnt edit it; the dead ends of the petals show life and rebirth and that is a beautiful thing mother nature gives us, we should appreciate it, not edit it out of the shot; i love it!
