Description:
Hello, all! This is my first submission to the art arenas, and I'd appreciate any feedback you might have.
I have this thing where if I can't think of something to draw, I'll come up with a character or creature at random based on numbers, with different numbers corresponding to different aspects. That's how Socri here came to be a harpy with an afro dual-wielding whips.
Edit: Socri's wielding whips, that is, not the afro. Eheh.
Medium: colored pencils (crayola and prang), ink. - Date: 04/15/2009

- very good use of colors, not many people can blend the colors easily unless professionally trained. Proportions are great but the black lines are too dark, in my opinion. I believe they need to be lighter to produse a more "moving" or a type of "movement" in the picture. the face in flawless, though the angle of the head is bothering me. It almost looks like it is on backwards. Very original and beautiful piece. 5/5 Hope that helps with future works
