Viognier, whom finally had his hair flowered and pinned, feathers and skin perfumed like rose, a small amout liner to his eyes and blush across his cheeks, FINALLY set doen the stairs.
And realozed the place was kinda a dump. Sure there was food and drink. And a dj. But there was no decoration other than a few statues and....were those stripper poles?
Shaking his head, he descended the stairs, grabbed a small tart, and settled himself with the odd little fellow in the giant pool of Venus.
Tentacles out, he was a rather robust fellow. All black and white and monochromatic glee.
Turning to the aforementioned pae, he gestured around. "Kinda lack luster, no? Honestly, i expected more."

Pel was in full pout mood. First they had lost his luggage. Which wouldnt have been so bad, but now he had to go naked to meet the love of his life. Which was a ridiculous notion, since everyone was naked, but this was Pel.
Then, the boat they arrived on had the bare minimum of food. Which wouldn't have been so bad, but Pel had managed to bring his jam with him. Which everyone knew had a nostalgic effect. It had been intended as a giftfor his mother in law, the great Lady Venus, but alas. He had had to eat it, which meant he had spent the majority of the boat ride in a nostagic funk, either crying or reminiscing.
And to top it all off, Kittums had done nothing but tease him for his emotional journey of doom. He simply wasn't in the right state of mind for his love's annual festival of passion.
He needed time. After a frustrated and slightly whiney sigh, he wandered off to his room for a bath. He simply had to get ready.
Kittums however, was having a blast. First she had managed to sneak the tall blue one's luggage overboard in the first night of travel, but she had also, somehow, convinced the crew to give him the bare necessity of food. Which meant crackers and stale ale. Which meant the spoilt brat had taken to eating his own jam with the crackers.
Which had been hilarious. When Mythuzel suggested guarding the blue buffoon, she had been very reluctant, but now? After watching the pitiful guy blubber for a week straight? Oh yeah. She was having a blast. Especially after convincing Pel that it was all the crew's fault. She'd had to pull the wussy away from more than one fight that wouldve have ended the love sick guy's life.
Which meamt Kittums had been fully entertained for the entire ride, despite pel's moping.
Watching the dude race tward the room in a huff was pleasure to her ears. Now she would have a minute to herself.
Heading over to the buffet, she eyes the two tentacled critters victory of meat before changing directions. She was in now way gonna tpugh anything on that table after wotnising that chaotic mess.
Grabing a drink, she quickly found the nearest balcony ledge and settled against it, to watch the goings on.

Alvéaenerle had little difficulty giving his bonded the slip, mostly because Poptart didn't completely understand the nature of the bond and was spectacularly unconcerned by it. When the invitation had arrived, Poptart had read it over Véa's shoulder, squealed something about seeing an old friend, then bundled herself and her tiny son, Parfait, off to Las Venus without further adieu. Véa quickly realized that this was a golden opportunity for some bonded-free "adventures", stowed the invitation somewhere in his sash, and then shadow-stepped practically to the hotel's very threshold. But when he stepped inside and tried to blend with the shadows again, he found himself blocked. Maybe it was a lack of shadows in such a well-lit space or maybe it was just a quirk of this weird plane. Noting the assorted "oddities" gathered together for this event, Véa assumed it was the latter. Feigning indifference while keeping one (normal) eye on the other guests, the calico male gracefully padded over to the buffet tables and considered the offerings before spearing a tiny morsel of something with one of his sharp claws and bringing it to his face for a thorough sniff.
Upon leaving their humble abode, which happened to be a cozy little den in the cliffside along the northern shore of Tuatha'ri Lake, Phiinae was shocked to discover that someone had left an invitation on the little water snake's "doorstep". Unfamiliar with most written symbols, they nonetheless got the message (the hearts, glitter, and stylized artwork of Las Venus were kind of a dead giveaway) and debated whether or not it would be worth losing a day of fishing and frog-catching. Normally quite shy and introverted, Phii was even more surprised that they actually wanted to go. Not giving themself time to talk themself out of it, they immediately set out, following the signs of traffic headed to Amārēmur. When they arrived, however, the shyness came back full force and after presenting their invitation, Phiinae immediately retreated to the naiad pools and hid amongst some floating lilypads.
Sula had originally been living along the coastline near Laisidhiel, but the faun weren't too keen on her presence (and, frankly, she wasn't exactly thrilled about theirs, either) so she had moved steadily inland, discovering that the lake fish were just as, if not more so, tasty than the salty little snacks she caught in the sea. Skimming the shallows as usual, Sula caught sight of what she thought was a glimmer of sunlight on scales and dived. She didn't come back up with a fish as she had expected, though. Instead, she held a bottle in her claws. Corked and sealed against the water, it held a roll of fancy filigreed parchment. Intrigued by the invitation, Sula asked Bumtowel what he thought about it. Taking his chirps and twittering as assent, Sula decided to go to the party...And immediately regretted it. Something about Las Venus made her unable to attain the lift necessary for flight leaving her with the option of waddling about on her legs or taking short gliding hops. Neither one was very dignified, but the latter might make her seem an easy target to one of these numerous cats or even the bigger harpies so she suffered through walking upright.
Persika had never much cared for the wild and free life. She didn't want to compete with other harpies for territory; it ate into her preening time. Instead, she'd kept in touch and on good terms with her sister, Dynya, and drifted nearer and nearer to settled lands. And so, when the invitation arrived, Persika was beside herself with excitement. Here she was with an official invite to a big party in the heart of "civilization"... Dazzled by her own imagination, Persika hastened to attend and entered the hotel. Though some damages from incidents celebrations past still lingered, to her eyes it was still the largest, most impressive pae-made structure she had ever seen.
Quote: Véa, Phii, Sula, and Persika are all open for interaction!

Ruya tried very hard to ignore the buffoon before her, but the closer he got, and the odder his gestures were, the more difficult it was. She tried only for a moment to hide her expression before it just couldn't be done. First of all, he was a male, which, not her favorite. Second of all, he was behaving like a complete idiot, also not her favorite. She had to get rid of him somehow.
"Hm? I'm so sorry, I don't seem to understand you," she said with an apologetic shrug. She looked around for someone else to escape talk to. Aha~
There was a shapely golden fae not too far off, seated at a table with some food. "Do excuse me," she said. "Good luck with....whatever you're going through." And she refilled her wine glass, grabbed a second, and swiftly left the faun to his gesticulating.
"Is this seat taken?" she inquired of the beautiful fae, setting the glasses and her plate down, which had been balanced atop her wine glass. "I noticed you didn't have a drink," said Ruya with a flirtatious smile, sliding the glass over to the fae.

Wide-eyed and open-mouthed, Persika didn't even notice the little twinge between her shoulder blades where the arrow struck. Stretching and settling her wings, she fluffed out her plumage which suddenly felt oddly.. heavy, almost? Getting some odd looks from other harpies now, Persika thought to herself, I suppose it is pretty weird for me to just stand here gawping... "Guess I should check my room number," she said aloud, blinking at how strange her voice sounded. Trying in vain to clear her throat and oblivious to the fact she was now a he, Persika moved toward the staircase while consulting the invitation.
