This is a multi-faceted event, in which there will be chances to win everything from babies of your own, to breeding additives, to perhaps even some other things! Exciting, right?!

1. You can enter 4 Pae for breeding possibilities (adults only), but you must sign up before playing!
   
2. It is very important that you all remember this is a PG-13 website. Nothing is allowed to insinuate rape or other adult matters.
   
3. If you sign up it is assumed everything is to be consensual with your Pae. If you don't agree with this, feel free to remove them from the event by requesting their removal in the sign up thread.
   
4. Once the main party gets going, feel free to play out any Erote effects if your pae is hit.
   
5. Getting hit does not guarantee babies -- this is just for VDay fun!
   
6. You must be active and post with effort with each of your Pae'il for that Pae'il. Simple one to two sentence posts wont cut it. Please respect your RP partner, and don't stop RPing without talking about it with them.
   
7. This year we may be CC'ing some pairs based on extraordinary effort. If we see any entertaining or inspiring interactions, you can bet you'd be considered.
   
8. Do not delete your posts. We can see if you do in the logs!
   
9. Rules are subject to addition throughout the event.

Meet Venus' entourage! They are here to ensure your party is a pleasant one!

Venus', gorgeous ex-fiance! He spends most of his time with Persephone.
Arrows: his bronze arrows make the other Pae look desirable. If his arrow doesn't get you, then watch out for his touch! One little tap and you'll be flexing the night away.

Mischievious God of Love, and Venus' first son, the apple of her eye.
Arrows: his golden arrows are coated in a special love potion that will cause a pae'il to fall in love with the first one they see after being pricked by an arrow.

Anteros was created to give young Eros a playmate. He's the second eldest and recently engaged heart
Arrows: His lead arrows can cause a pae'il to fall in love, just as Eros' arrows, however, Anteros is the Avenger of Scorned love and God of Requited Love. He generally is the one cleaning up after his siblings.
He is happily married to Yukiko, Goddess of Unconditional Love.

Lecherous and very popular with the ladies... and some men, too. He has a way with mortal Pae, making him pretty popular.
Arrows: Himeros' golden arrows will cause pae to feel lust for the first pae'il they see after being pricked. They will have strong sexual desires that are not able to resist.
NOTE: any pae under the influence of one of his arrows will NOT rape another. It will be like Pepe le Pew, and he just simply won't give up until that lust and desire are sated.

Wistful and lonely, Pothos is cursed to never find true happiness with love. That's probably why he's so awkward.
Arrows: Pothos' golden arrows will create in a Pae'il a feeling of longing, of yearning for the first Pae they see. This is not love that they feel, but an intense infatuation; a crush, but on a pae, they cannot ever have.
His arrows are a curse because the pae that is yearned for will never return the love.

Once a handsome young man, Iordanes was transformed into an androgynous god when he merged with a nymph. (the greek kind, not the pae kind.) Iordanes looks like a female but is a male.
Arrows: Iordanes' golden arrows are dipped in the cursed waters that he created, and will cause a pae'il to change gender temporarily if pricked.

Dylo is the only Erote that is not one of Venus' natural born sons. He was found in her garden one afternoon, and she adopted him and made him one of her Erotes. He just wants everyone to feel good!
Arrows: Hedylogos' golden arrows will create in Pae'il super confidence and wit. He can make any Pae'il a sweet-talker and master of flattery! The effect of his arrows are temporary, and he assumes no responsibility if the pae's sweet-talking gets them slapped.

God of the Wedding Hymn and Ceremony, Hymnaios is also considered a muse of music and is always willing to be the evening's entertainment!
Arrows: Hymnaios' golden arrows will cause Pae'il to propose to the first Pae they see.

Psyche isn't part of Venus' Retinue, much to her delight. But she is married to Eros, so she is Venus' daughter-in-law ...
Arrows: Psyche's arrows, when two Pae are hit at the same time, make those Pae'il believe they are soulmates.

Thalia is the Goddess of Celebrations, so if the party is a hit or miss it's all thanks to her!
Arrows: Thalia's arrows incite dance and celebration.

Euphrosyne is so happy and bubbly, and Venus loves the cheer she spreads!
Arrows: Euphrosyne's arrows make Pae'il super happy!

Aglaia is the grace of beauty and Venus' prodigy.
Arrows: Aglaia's arrows make Pae'il extremely beautiful.

Kleta & Phaenna are the Spartan goddesses. Who better to protect us from any possible intruders than this pair? (We're looking at you Eris)
Arrows: Kleta's arrows inspire hero worship to whoever is hit.
Phaenna's arrows inspire Pae'il to show off to each other, eventually leading to some playful wrestling! Watch out for Himeros.

The Younger Graces have been brought in to be among Venus' cherish Graces. They are no longer in training.
They are allowed to "borrow" the arrows of any of their siblings.

Oh! Harmonia is the Goddess of Harmony
Arrows: the Pae hit will see little birds and critters, feeling special harmony. The first pae they see will be their Prince Charming.

The Village: Amārēmur (Las Venus)

What kind of Village is it?
Settled around the Temple of Venus, this village is a luxury Pae'Il resort. Whether lounging on the beach, getting pampered in the spa, engaging in gambling or other adult activities (We won't tell!), or catching a family-friendly show, Pae of all breeds and creeds can relax and enjoy the finer things in life... for a price, of course.

Location description
- The village radiates from the centralized Temple of Venus. There are homes, spas, a casino and a hotel, and several amphitheaters for performances. There is a large bakery specializing in cakes, pastries, pies, and candies. Most of the important buildings are fitted with columns, and statues of Venus and her children scattered here and there. An open market with lines of stalls sits in front of the temple and acts as a meeting place as well as the economic center of the village.
- Las Venus is nestled between the Ithyl Forest and Cha'en Beach. This gives tourists a centralized location to enjoy tranquil nature walks, bonfires on the beach, and with a bit of hiking on one of many trails in the Ithyl Forest.
- The village is the size of a medium to a large town. It employs approximately 50-100 Pae'il, excluding traveling merchants and performers. The employees and families share quadplex structures.

The Las Venus Hotel and Casino

This is where your Pae'il will start out their getaway. When they enter the building they walk into a grand, round room that's open in the center so you can see straight up into a skylight above. There are many floors supported by columns and statues of the Goddess herself and some of her children sprinkled around with nicks and bits missing out of them. This spacious room has been repurposed for the party with large fountains flowing with crystal clear water brought in from the lake special for our aquatic friends, long banquet tables full of decadent delights, and several tables with poles through the center around the room. There is a clear space for dancing near the back. In the very center is a large statue of Venus herself adorned in grapevines and with wine pouring out from an elegant vase she's holding. It flows down her marbled body and into a pool below. This pool serves as the party's refreshments.

New to this year's party is a large DJ station near the dance floor.

There is an overlook on the second floor that stretches out a bit further than the rest. Venus' throne has been replaced with a much more luxurious and comfortable golden fainting couch. Speaking of, it seems like even the decorations this year seem a little unusual. There were no pink, white, and red hearts, and no roses embellishing the statues and busts.

Abilene arrived in a small flurry of anticipation. His tint backpack was the only corporeal thing about him. His silver sparkles shone brightly among his ghostly pale blue. Every blonde curl was pinned and placed in perfection. He was a star.

A very tiny star.

He frowned at the front door handle, which just happened to be out of his reach.

Well this wouldnt do. He had work to do. Things to attend to this evening. There was no other choice. He could either wait, or knock politely and pray one of those mellons would.let him in.

Asios, however dead she may feel, was in fact large. Large enough to fly thru a window and land on one of the balcony rails. Which is what she did.

Had she watched the tiny snake attempt to enter the dwelling. She had. She found it amusing. She had not seen snakes in such a small size before and she was feeling kind of hungry.

Maybe she should help the little snake inside after all.

Another year had passed since Zhixuan had seen the golden apple of her eye, Feng Zhi. She'd had plans, after the last of these powderpuff celebrations, to find where he lived and conveniently relocate there. Unfortunately she'd laid eggs shortly thereafter and had spent the better part of the year caring for them.

Now, with only one teen in the nest, who was perfectly capable of handling herself for a while, Zhixuan was off on her quest again. She'd arrived, it seemed, before most of the other guests, and so, never one to turn down free food, made herself comfortable near the buffet tables. She took a small plate and put as much meat-looking food on it as it could reasonably hold, then retreated to lean against a column where she had a good view of the door.

Viognier had arrived and quickly found his room. Then he promptly stuck his feathered arse in a bath. Cause he wasn't about to show up at a ball without every scale sparkling and each feather shining.

After his bath, he applied some.rose oil; very fitting to the occasion in his humble opinion. A drop to each wrist, each temple, and a rub of it across his tail feathers. He wanted his intended audience to smell him as he came and went.

He piled his hair up in small spirals, and put a metal pin in each.

Then he opened his suitcase and pulled out his small bouquet of flowers he had brought and began threading them carefully into his hair with some string and blunt needle. The thread would hold them in place while he danced the night away. It also helped gove the metal pins some.stability.

Then, after one last.look himself, he grinned. He was magnificent.

Kasmai had found the invitation on his doorstep and chuckled to himself. It'd been a long time since he'd gone to one of these. Might be fun to go again. The next time he'd seen Eniko he'd flicked the invitation toward her. "Now that you've got some help around here, might be time for a vacation, yeah?" he'd said.

They arrived and got set up in their room, which was fancy to the point of absurdity. They'd had a good laugh, freshened up from their travels, and made their way down to the party. Kasmai had taken the opportunity to don a bow tie for a little pizzazz, which he thought Eniko might make fun of, but he thought it was a nice touch. He offered her his arm as they walked.

Ruya hadn't been back to one of these celebrations since the time she got changed into a male and had had the time of her life courting a certain blue femme. Good times. But, after some pestering from her family, Ruya decided she needed a vacation. She'd made the arrangements to be away from her work and had flown over.

She'd marveled at the opulence of her room, and took time to examine everything before preening for a while to shake off the dust from travel, then resting a while. Eventually she made her way down to the party, looking around as she did. She caught sight of a few other harpies, which somehow struck her as unusual, and then she recognized Kasmai and Eniko from home. Somehow she felt comforted by the presence of familiar faces, though she wouldn't go out of her way to interact with them.

Ruya was tempted to go and greet one of her sister birds, but the ones she'd seen both had a wild look about them, which she suspected meant they'd see her as competition and not a companion. So she settled for a glass of wine (not as good as what they made at home, but still excellent) and a plate of food, and watching the other guests trickle in.

Sonorilla landed at the base of the bustling village and looked around with a raised eye as she surveyed the surroundings. It was just as excessively extravagant as she'd heard, but also less... well... gaudy. It was damn near tasteful, even. She ruffled her feathers to make sure they were free of dust or dew before folding them behind her back and reaching up to fluff out her hair. Had to look her best here, after all. This was THE Venus they were talking about.

Glancing over to her sister as she was joined, she motioned to one of the cherubs flittering here and there. "I'm going to check my hair and wash my feathers - care to come with?"



It had been an unassuming day when one of her sug's - Kasmai - had approached her with an invitation and a proposal. Not the marriage kind, of course, but of the adventure sort. He'd had a point. It had been really far too long since she'd had a proper time off - it'd only been recently she'd begun to have any time off at all!

So of course she'd said yes... and then gotten the okay from her coworker.

She'd rather enjoyed the ride down which, for what it was worth, really wasn't too terribly far from their own village. The inn... or rather 'hotel'... itself was nice, but Eniko couldn't help but feel that their own was much nicer. Far homier and certainly easier to relax in. Still, she'd get the most out of this place, which meant mostly fancy soaps and lotions and shampoos to her.

Taking his arm, Eniko had her hair pulled up in a fancy, slightly-messy bun that allowed her bright red eyes to both be fully visible. Little wisps of curls fell loosely onto her shoulder and tailed off at her collarbone, upon which she was wearing a borrowed set of jewels. Her own arms were snugly situated into Kasmai's, and she glanced up at him. "Did you really need to go with that color bow tie?"

Tanz found herself filling two glasses of wine - one each for her and her date, Attor - as she momentarily reflected on how they'd come to this moment.

She'd been visiting Attor (and apparently his sister, Tvora, whom Tanz still wasn't quite sure how to feel about) with her daughter in Breeheart for some time now. It'd actually been about time for them to return home when they'd been approached with an invitation for the current festivities. They'd declined - it was far too little notice and children were quite clearly NOT allowed - but Tvora had insisted. 'Why, it'd made for a perfect date!' she'd said. She'd even offered to take on babysitting duties while they were gone.

It was actually a bit weird, now that Tanz thought about it.

But, in the end, they'd accepted her offer, and here they were, Tanz with her hair braided unusually elegantly into a high ponytail (courtesy of the cherubs) with golden jewelry accentuating her starry skin and semi-translucent cloth doing the same for her admittedly-minor curves, a glass of golden wine in each hand. She offered one to Attor with a toothy smile. "The wine here is the best you'll find anywhere - I'd bet coin on it." A small pause as he took it. "Still though, how nice of your sister to watch Iolyte - we have to remember to pick up a souvenir to thank her."

The invitation that'd found itself in the door of a certain ranch house had probably not been intended for the pair of rak sisters that'd found it. No. It'd almost certainly been meant for either the young mistress or her mother.

This was precisely why they'd confiscated it instead.

One of Venus' parties? Why, that sounded interesting! And they'd only just gotten Blush back from the far-away City. There was no way they'd let her be off on her own again so soon. What if she didn't return this time? What would happen to their snacks then? The mother couldn't be risked going either, as she make said snacks and kept things clean and running. Both were invaluable.

So they'd gone in their steed.

Having arrived some time earlier and been pampered to their whole delight, the winged rak was perusing a plate of hors d'oeuvres set upon her lap from the second floor, her paws kicked over the edge and her tail lazily resting beside them, as she watched the other pae trickle in with delight. She picked up a glass of bubby from the tray of a passing cherub and, after a sip, sighed. "Why, sister, how did it take us so long to find such a paradise. We should have brought Blush along after all - I'm sure she'd have enjoyed it."

Kasmai touched his bow tie with a smile. It was just the same plum color as Eniko's hair. "You're supposed to match to the lady," he said matter-of-factly, with a playful twinkle in his eye. Then, in a lower tone, "You look lovely." Brightening his voice, he added. "C'mon, let's see how this wine compares to what we have at home, yeah?" He steered them toward the....wine fountain?...and filled two glasses, one for each of them. He handed her hers, then lifted his slightly. "To adventure," he said, feeling quite a bit cheeky.

Yipes hummed happily and twerked his behind in time to the music as he piled as many sweets as he could onto his plate. Tonight was about snapdragons and the pendlegraspers and he was gonna feed himself sweets in revenge.

He had arrived rather early. Upon notifying all the gabble gooks, he knew this was the happening place to be. So here he shimmyed and ate. At the table. The best seat in the house.

Now, wether Yipes was dancing to the current music was debatable. A leg kick here, and a twirl there, he popped a cherry into his mouth as he surveyed the crowd.

Venus always threw such lovely parties with such lovely people. The colors tended to bleed in his eyesight. Which he quite enjoyed. He popped another cherry into his mouth, and grinned.

Tonight, he was gonna find a nice tree and nest in it. And he had already seen a fine tree. She wore an orange mask and dark feathers and was made of sturdy Oak. Surely he could nest in her sunbeams.

But then there were more colors before him and that idea was quickly lost. When his gaze caight a bird made of umber and bright, dazzling red, the thought returned. She looked more like a Mahogany. Which was even betted than an oak. Especially when stained red.

So Yipes did what anyman would do. He swooped up a small amount of cream from a tart, ran it through his hair as mousse and set off to say hello. Maybe he would ask for a dance? Oh, his pippin guards were absolutely tingling at all the possibilities.

Rubena, too, was impressed by their surroundings. "Goodness," she commented as they arrived. Looking over at her sister, she copied her movements to also rid her feathers of dust and other travel debris. "Yes, I quite think I would," she agreed. Rubena tended to be more of a homebody, but she wouldn't pass up the opportunity to come to a fancy party with her sister. Besides, they weren't too far from home, and their charges would be well-cared for in their absence.

She followed Sonorila up to a room, where they were able to freshen up from their travels. Rubena chose to arrange her hair in a lovely updo, which allowed full view of her beautiful white speckles. With the addition of some clinking bangle bracelets and a jeweled hair ornament, she felt ready to go.

Ruya couldn't help but notice the brightly-colored faun. How could she not? He was making an absolute fool of himself. Men, she thought derisively, rolling her eyes. She sipped her wine.

Oh heavens. Was he approaching her?

Ruya hid her expression in her glass as he came closer, which was probably the politest thing she could do, given how it changed from astonishment to horror as he...styled his hair with food? Revolting.

Aderyn fluttered her wings and settled them against her back as she walked into the Las Venus Hotel and Casino. It was beautiful, if a little strangely decorated. She rather thought Venus Day's colors tended more toward the colors of passion. Red, and pink, with perhaps some more innocent white accents. But there were no hearts, no roses. In fact, it looked a little boring and she sighed to herself. Perhaps she should have come in years past. The previous years' parties had at least sounded interesting.

She just hoped that the year she finally decided to come didn't turn out as disappointing as it looked so far.

Nishant stood at the wine fountain of Venus, staring up at her. He held a cup in his hand but it was as yet empty. The plan had been to come over to the fountain for wine, but then he had gotten distracted by the fountain itself. Did Venus really look like that? Had she posed for this fountain, or was it some fanatical follower's imagination that had carved the perfect proportions of the goddess?

Fascinating, how the fanatical could see perfection in someone who had never been, and would never be, perfect. None of the gods were perfect, no matter how hard they tried to seem otherwise. With a sigh, he finally held his cup under the stream of wine until it was full. He took a sip and grumbled quietly. It was warm.

Ceres wandered into the hotel and looked around curiously. She had never been to a Venus Day celebration before but apparently they could be quite good fun! She hoped this one was as enchanting as the previous years had sounded. It didn't seem like much expense was put into decorating, however, so she was a bit disappointed at that. She was, however, still happy to be there. She couldn't wait to see what was held in store for the attendees this year! So exciting! Looking around at the ones who had arrived so far, she wondered if she might make a new friend or, if she was very lucky, find love!

Indumeri lounged in one of the pools for the Naiads, taking in the sights and wondering why she came here. Venus Day wasn't even one of her top three favorite holidays, but she had been bored at home. She supposed she could just as easily be bored here, and perhaps she would be surprised. Perhaps she would find love, after all. She snorted to herself at that thought and leaned against the edge of the pool.

Xenais's eyes flicked around in all directions as she took in the entrance of the hotel. Interesting, she supposed. So many different Pae. Lesser Pae, obviously. She wondered what the draw was to this place, and her curiousity had gotten her this far. She looked over to her brother and wondered if he would ruin her fun. They shared the same views of these Pae, knowing their kind to be the superior one, but Xen just couldn't help but wonder at the rest of the world. "Well?" she asked her brother. "What do you think?"
