Killa x Ranuin, Parker, Beryl, Hauyne, PoliuahAs the large group gathered to try and save Shansa, some more willingly than others, they noticed the shadow was giving them quite a run for their money. Some parts of it threw fists, the one threw its sign and some tiny unseen ones threw cookies. Eventually however, thanks to Killa grabbing on to Shansa’s hand, they managed to free the young teen demi.
Exhausted and breathing heavily but otherwise ok, Shansa looks up to her saviors, thanking them each individually, wiping a few tears from her eyes. She points to a table where there are several lavender scented bottles, enough for each pae there.

As Kelpie, Erminea, Rainbowdash and Aquos come up to the source of the fighting sounds, they notice Phaenna leaping between two training dummies, all donned with swords as she lays down some expert moves on them with her spear, not even breaking a sweat. Once she notices the group approach, she grins, challenging them to an arm wrestle, telling them if they beat her, she’ll whisk them outta this maze no problem!
As the group stand around confused and unsure about this (except maybe Rainbow Dash), they notice a rumbling throughout the entire maze. Without pausing to think, Phaenna gather’s them all behind her. Once behind, they notice four tiny little Phaenna replicas, enough for each of them.

As Beltan and Xoana approach the sound of laughter and critter chitter, they see two golden, teen fauny boys with soft pink hair playing a game of twister with tiny shadow animals. A tiny shadow bunny is standing on its front two paws in the middle of a red circle looking smug. A little shadow bird is hoping between a blue circle and a green circle, angrily annoying a tiny shadow fawn that’s trying to keep one hoof in each while a third hoof in a yellow circle under the shadow bunny. A shadow cat is laughing and spinning the twister dial while the two boys seem to not be too terribly concerned about any of this. When they notice the group, they get up from their pretzel position (with a bit of trouble and untangling) and wave to the pair to join them. Before anyone can agree or disagree however, the maze shakes. Dovesong and Soaring Hope’s expressions go grave as they look at each other, then to the group and simultaneously chime “Uh oh...” Beltan and Xoana are rushed over to the two boys as the shadow critters cling to their legs nervously. The shadow faun rubs against Beltan’s hand and the cat slinks over to try and hide next to Xoana’s feet.

Jae was slithering....er, tippy tapping as fast as her snekapillar body would let her towards the sounds of screaming when suddenly the maze began to rumble. Doing her best to go as quickly as she could, Jae managed to spot something out of the corner of her eye until her vision went purple then flipped upside down. Just before it however, she noted that what she grabbed seemed to be a very tiny plastic rainbow butterfly....

Tired and sore feet prod against the ground. How long have they been here? How were the others fairing? Time was so weird in the maze that it made it difficult to gauge. Some just went along with it, not stopping to think unless it makes them go mad. Others… well.
Soon a purple mist began to slink its way around the Pae’s feet. They didn’t notice it at first until the mist turned into hands and grabbed them, pulling their legs out from under them and hanging them upside down. Cackling rang out around them, the mist growing stronger until a dark silhouette could be seen within it. Red eyes blinked back and a dancing smile appeared, “Have fun, my pet? How about we make you more… comfortable.” Multiple silhouettes joined at the sides and began to laugh along.
The mist gobbles them up with frightening sounds of slurping. In a blink they find themselves each in their own individual cage hanging from a dark ceiling… Have they really been tossed into bird cages!? Is that how she sees them? Some of you see others around you whom you might have not seen in awhile. You call out to one another trying to find a way out.
A spotlight appears below you over a grand throne that has taken on the themes of the maze. Its built with dark panels that have dancing shadows within, two columns of dark marble sit to either side of it with purple flames flicking above, and rose vines cover it except for the seat where the same bouncy material from the Chaos maze covers it in order to give its sitter perfect comfort.
And who else should step out of the shadows to sit upon it than Eris herself. She’s swapped out her Venus garb for something more appropriate to herself. She sits herself down and smirks up at them, seeming to take a moment to look each and every one of them in the eye, “This is much better don’t you think, my pet?” she coos at them.
THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN RESCUEDHold tight! Your grand entrance is coming!
