Aidan was not as calm as his lover. Oh water spirits they were out of the water! He couldn't breath he couldn't breath- He could breath. Aidan brought his hands to his gills to make sure everything was still working. Yup. Still working fine. What was this...Magic? "My dear, we can breath on the surface?" He was still very confused. It took him a moment to process Quadira's words. "You are correct. This is a much nicer location then the previous one. How fortuitous of us!"

He played back what had happened in his head. The purple naiad had been rude to their hostess! He was in there group as well! Before Aidan could say anything the scoundrel took off down the path with a pink one. Aidan furrowed his brow. If anything had happened to his dear Quadira there would be heck to pay!

Aidan's face softened as his beloved spoke to him again. Land flowers! She was correct! They had both never seen land flowers before. Who was he to stop her? "I do believe that is a wonderful idea my love." He was almost bouncing with excitement himself! Forward! To the land flowers!

What he hadn't taken into account for was the sudden large lurch forward as his body seemed to move on it's own. It was like he was flying through the air! Then suddenly he was face first before the land flower in the dirt with a loud thud! "OOF! What in the blazes?" He struggled to prop himself up with his hands and looked towards his tail. He had legs! Large legs! Frog legs. "Where did these come from?" This day had been one confusion after another.

Dax hadn't been to a venus party before but when he'd arrived, it was a rather... lacklustre affair, this wasn't the amazing party he'd been told about however he had mingled a little, got a drink, watched the goings on when suddenly his stomach dropped as he and other partygoers were... somewhere else, was that supposed to happen? .. looking at the faces on the other Pae.. he was pretty sure it wasn't.

Initially He started to panic, suddenly thrust somewhere but he calmed his breathing, this place wasn't so bad.. right? ... Then the cherubs turned up ... the first two were.. strange but the third... wow, yeah no.. He was going to get out of here.

It’s alright if you just stand around. It’s a beautiful place to do so. Ahh, nice day, beautiful surroundings- despite some of your comrades yelling after the creepy little pink things. Oh my, they’re beautiful flowers aren’t they? The colors are just shimmering the smell, oh my the smell! The most perfect scent anyone could- Wait. Did they just hiss? Sure enough, the once beautiful flowers are now darkening and long vines of thorns start to seep from between the leaves. They don’t like it that you’ve invaded their space. You’d better run before they grab a hold of you!

1-A. RUN!!! You head down the long path after the others- vines lashing after you.
1-B. Oooo the flowers wanna play! You’ll play! (Basically you stay and your Pae gets outs of the maze)


FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE B
My, what a beautiful maze to get lost in! Despite the creepy Cherubs, this was quite pleasant. You could almost skip along-

Domini manages to brush up against something and trigger a trap! Suddenly rose thorns are sailing through the air back and forth in front of the Pae. They have to dodge and weave in order to continue forward and not get nailed by one of the razor sharp dangers.

Domini manages to trigger a trap! He finds a curious rose totem.

They make it past the trap, but they still have a long stretch before them. As they gather their bearings and attempt to continue forward, the hedges to the east open up and a cherub dances in the opening, “This way this way!!” he sing songs at them.

2-A. Ignore the creep and continue north down the path
2-B. He’s totally trustworthy, look at him, head towards the east

Aidan is dragging Quadira option 1-A whether she likes it or not.

"what was that?" Aidan's heart sank as he heard a sound. Hissing wasn't good. Hissing meant anger. Aidan didn't want to be around anger. Something could befall his beloved. Although for the moment, something could befall him! Vines started appearing out of the leaves. The once beautiful flowers were now more sinister and every fiber of his being told him it was time to leave. Yesterday.

With a little more graceful hop he was back to Quadira. "My beloved I love you but we must abscond away from this place! It is not as safe as we were led to believe! I apologize!" With his apology he slung Quadira over his shoulders and BOOKED- err HOPPED away as fast as he could down the path as fast as he could.

Enfys watched with wide eyes as the thorny vines began to reach towards him and the other pae who had chosen to stay behind. He didn't imagine it being any fun to get tangled after that. He glanced at where the one path had been before it closed up, no way through there. It seemed Enfys had no choice but to follow down the path that couple had gone too. Maybe they were far enough ahead of him now that he wouldn't cross... paths... with them again.

Smolder x Rime choose 1-A RUNNN!

Mid-sniff everything suddenly went terribly, terribly wrong. The rose.. changed. Before, it had smelled lovely as if it had just opened its petals to the sun, the scent thick and heady, filling her senses. Now it was cloying, overpowering, and sickly sweet. Jerking back with shock, she just barely avoided a whiplike vine covered in sharp, dangerous looking thorns.

"What the-?!" she squeaked, flinching further away from the creeping vines and withered flowers. Were they...hissing at her? Oh no, oh no. She had made a huge mistake. Turning to Rime, her eyes wide and scared, she grabbed the other deer's hand and pulled her toward the long path some of the others had taken. "We have to get out of here!"

[Hjortur x Kelebek | 2-A : Trust No One]

Hjortur ran his hand through Kel's hair as she embraced him, trying to keep calm himself. He couldn't have them both freaking out; that'd get them nowhere. Looking around, he saw one path leading outwards.

"Hey Kel, I owe you one helluva drink and apology when we get out of here, okay? But we are getting out of here. Compared to the year when my folks came with us, it doesn't look too bad, right?" Yeah, compared to that crazy bat-attack madness, this was fairly normal. Perhaps too normal? No use thinking on it. Hugging her once more, he pulled away from her arms to stand up, then offered a hand in turn to help her up.

"Let's get on out of here, shall we?"

Perhaps due to them setting off later than others (who thankfully didn't seem to recognize him as the one who started this mess), they were able to continue past one trap. It seemed things wouldn't necessarily go as smoothly as appearances gave.

Naturally, they ignored the suspiciously dancing cherub and continued onward. They weren't going to be lulled into a false sense of security.

Rime squealed in supp rise as the floor fell away beneath her and she fell. Luckily it seemed like she hadn't gotten hurt when she hit the ground.

Oooh now this place was nice! Just what one expected from a fancy party! A lovely garden full of life and birds and pretty flowers! It was perfect.

"yeah lets stay here!" She grinned at Smolder's suggestion. Looking for a flower of her own to sniff, hers was smaller than the giant Smolder had found but the scent was lovely.

Until they started hissing. Okay they still smelled amazing but the hissing was terrifying.

"Smold-" She was about to ask smolder what that hissing was if it was the flowers when she noticed the vine that almost hit her friend. Oh nooo this was the worst.

Curse you false paradise! Dodging a vine of her own she squeezed Smolder's hand as the other deer grabbed her hand and took off. Yup time to run.
"Yeah time to leave!" She agreed as she ran along side Smolder.

Everything seemed to be going smoothly when all the sudden a pae tripped. Suddenly, thorns started shooting out of the walls. "What is this place?!" He yelled to no one in particular, charging forward while ducking his head.

Finally he got through in one piece, and suddenly the little cherub showed up again. "...I'm good." The motorpae responded with a bit of a glare before continuing on. Ever heard of stranger danger?

2-B. He’s totally trustworthy, look at him, head towards the east (Hortense x Jekyll)

Hortense took a deep breath, giving a nod at Jekyll, pursing her lips nervously. It was a totally new environment, and she was scared. Most of the time, she enjoyed new things, but not at the expense of falling through something she never thought would happen! "Find the exit! Ok! We can do that! But wait... where is the exit?" she asked, momentarily went from excited and then to anxious, clinging to Jekyll like a vise grip. She just wanted to go home; mostly with her boyfriend, make tea, make Jekyll eat something. That's what she wants to do, not... this!

"Wait.. " the Shetani said, frowning when a funny looking thing popped out of nowhere and started giggling, indicating to follow them with a "This way this way" like some munchkin. She looked at Jekyll, raising an eyebrow as to see what he has chosen. To stay and go back or to follow the creepy looking cherub? This thing better not lead them to a dark corner and try to rob them.

The fae's eyes widened when the other pae fell, and then suddenly thorns started shooting out! They barely managed to make it out, when suddenly the cherub popped out from the side.

Normally he'd be distrustful, but the fact was if the cherub was evil,it was better to know where it was then to not and be surprised. This way he could keep an eye on it. "Is it the way out?" He called, gripping Hortenses hand as he followed after it. "Don't worry Teeny...I'm coming up with a plan. It'll be okay." He murmured under his breath to her. At least, he hoped it would.

Night Terror ran as fast as his gravity less body would let him. Which wasn't very fast. With a flap of his wings he managed to escape most of the vines however and only ended up with a few stings. Still.... boy he was going to tell Swarm Mother a thing or two about these parties she so loved when he got back.

FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE 1-A
Not quite fond of being turned into plant chow, you book it down the path, regretting your life choices now. You should have chose to go forward with the rest of the group! Now instead you've got hot weeds on your trail! Still, you seem to be out running them at least, plant feets don't seem to be able to run very quickly. Nursing a few vine lashes, you come face to face with the same dancing cherub as before. He's looking quite tired and a little angry actually. "Hurry up will ya? I can't dance all day!" he suddenly turns mad, crazed, spitting bial and blood. Seems he'd like to clock out for the day now. What do you do?

1-A: Book it quickly down the north path away from whatever hes spewing.
1-B: Scoff at him and chose his direction, giving him a quaint pat on the head as you proceed east.



FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE 2-A
Deciding to ignore the creep (wise choice--- OR IS IT?!) you press farther on down the path. A voice begins to whisper in the back of everyone mind. It seems gentle, motherly almost, save for the very obvious tones of spite and anger. It creeps into their minds, speaking to them. "Thank your little fish friend my lovely pets. I do hope you all are having a wonderful time!" and with that, it begins to cackle madly, the voice slowly fading, leaving your brain as silent as it ever was.

As Hjortur continues along with Kelebek, he suddenly has the urge to begin crying. Bananas. Tiny tiny tear sized bananas that are edible, though faintly salty. Any time he tried to open his mouth, the only thing that came out was waves upon waves of banana pudding.

Strange thing, what the hand of chaos can do, hmm?

Up a head however, you can see something, faintly glowing but can't quite make it out from this distance. To the east you can see another path that looks like it opens up into multiple other paths and possibly deeper into the maze. Do you...

2A-A: Continue north to investigate whatever is glowing! Glowing things are ALWAYS good, aren't they?!
2B-B: Head east instead and see what options open up, after all, this maze hasn't exactly shown itself to be trust worthy.

FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE 2-B
Giving the cherub a wide berth, you push past him and towards the east. It doesn't take long before you come to a literal dead end. Well, at least straight in front of you that is. To the north is another short path that seems to quickly turn east and then possibly south, but you can't quite tell. Faint whispers can be heard just on the other side of the hedge in that direction. Your other option is to go south - but then the path splits in two again! One to the east with the sounds of trickling water and one to the south west that seems calm and quiet save for the rows of cherub faces peering through the hedge walls.. Do you...

2B-A: Head north into the short path and try to find the source of the whispering.
2B-B: Head south then east to find the source of the water sounds.
2B-C: Head south then southwest down the calm and quiet path with the multitude of cherub faces....
