Welcome to the candidate sign ups for Lithustoth’s second clutch!
The Touching is due to run from 4th December until 11th December.
The Hatching is due to start on Friday 13th December, lucky for some!
In order to be considered for Impression you must fill out a form and post it below or alternatively, if you would prefer it to be private, you’re welcome to PM it to me. Either way doesn’t affect your chances, go with whichever you’re happier with. You can also edit your form (in here or by PM) at any time until this thread locks on December 11th at 11:59pm GMT.

Personality summary: Normally as the profile shows. As of late, disconnecting, depressed, stubborn. Feels totally lost, misses his twin but is too proud to make the first step.

Other: Kakar is losing hope of Impressing with each passing clutch he's passed over, this affects his mood when touching and Standing. He feels like he's lost everything but he promised his brother's dragon he would keep trying, he's positive no dragon wants him and his usual method of planning things has gone badly wrong, he has no plans anymore.

Personality summary: She can be very serious, especially when working. However, she likes to have a little fun too, though nothing dangerous. She may be reserved, and prefers to keep to herself, but it's not impossible to make friends with her, either. Judgmental, but also self critical.

Personality preferences?: I believe she would get along best with a dragon of similar mind to herself. I could also see her possibly balancing with her dragon on some point or other, something they're opposites on and so help each other with. Friendly, witty, critical, picky, all are good. Some playful sniping at each other wouldn't be amiss. A silly twitterhead who just wants to gossip and be annoying is a definite no.

Stands impression?: Yes
Personality summary: Kesarin is a defeatist who has come to accept that her life is now just going to pass her by in a haze of grey. She struggles to find positive feeling in things, and can lead more to self-deprecating and dark humour when she feels like positive emotions should happen to her. She generally sees herself as weak and not useful, going along with other people's thoughts for her in an attempt to be less of a burden to them. Uncomfortable with standing up for herself, Kesarin can become teary and shut down in times of conflict.
Kesarin is a compassionate person who empathises with other people readily and seeks to help them. This aspect of her personality has suffered in recent turns as she shut herself away from the rest of the Weyr. She is still loyal to the concept of the Weyr, and more specifically the people in it. She views the people as more important than the structure or the traditions and in her few moments of emotional energy has not approved of everything that is going on currently in the Weyr.
Mauling?: Injuries are good, preferably nothing that would require several months and physiotherapy to heal.

Personality preferences?: Kesarin is in a deep rutt, I feel like a dragon that's a fighter would be the best fit for her. One that isn't going to enable her allowing life to go by without her. Preferably one that is willing to stand up for themselves and maybe even get her to grow a bit of a spine. Still she's too squishy for a dragon that is just outright cruel or hates people. Similarly a dragon that is constant sunshine and jokes would be too harsh a contrast for me to play personally.

Are there any eggs you feel your character especially resonates with?: Kesarin would probably most enjoy the company of Burrowing or Prowling. Their quieter approaches would be less taxing on her. Not that it matters since she isn't in the touching.
Are there any eggs you especially hope your candidate impresses to?: Nope
Are there any eggs you feel your character is especially poorly suited for?: Babbling, Leaping and Fantastic, all have their own brand of playful energy that I feel probably wouldn't work with Kesarin, but I'm open to options.

Personality summary: Telleara isn't a particularly pleasant person to be around. She's haughty, entitled, and thinks she's smarter than everyone else. She is intelligent, and has the patience to see plans thought, but she's entirely self serving. This woman does not care about other people, only what they can do for her. If you aren't useful then she really can't be bothered. Everything Telleara does is to make her own situation better. Even when forced into things she'll work to spin it to her own advantage.
Mauling?: Anything up to death is good. Telleara would be mortified if a dragon left a mark on her.
Dragon Preferences
Colour preferences?: None. Telleara wants gold or bust. If she can't take over a Weyr then she has no interest. The new Weyrleader scheme doesn't really bother her either, since she's confident that with a gold in tow she could bring the Weyr back to their old leadership.
Outside of her interests I could see her causing trouble on a bronze. She would start pushing for Weyrleadership almost immediately.
I honestly don't know what I would do with her on a chromatic. Likely she'd make a push for leadership, but I'm not sure how she'd go about it without the 'divine right' of metallic hide.

Personality preferences?: At the moment she considers a dragon more of a tool than a life partner. Any dragon that wanted to bond to her would have to be just as strong and ruthless as she is. She'd love them, as all dragonriders do, but it would end up being as an extension of herself. A dragon like her would probably suit better for Telleara than a contrasting personality.
Are there any risks to their eligibility to impress?: None
On the Eggs
Are there any eggs you feel your character especially resonates with?: Heart Egg, it's the biggest and Telleara agrees with it's attitude. This is the kind of dragon she'd take. Only if it hatches out a gold of course.
Sun's Ray is good too. Still big and she appreciates their propriety. If they came out gold she'd happily have them. She'd take any gold, but this one would certainly fit the part.

Other: I'm not amazingly sold on having Telleara impress. She's fun to have strutting about being unpleasant as is. If something comes up though or you have something in mind then I'd be down for it.

Personality summary: Positives: Analytical, Hard Working, Sees good in everyone, Friendly
A hard working sort, Siv has a love for sciences like basic technologies to use around Pern and Fort, to the way animals live, and more. A scientist by Earth's standard, Siv focuses on anything she can get her fingers on much like her family and will readily devote hours to careful study and mastery, parsing information to glean everything from it of use, and sees her long candidacy as a research opportunity. Siv sees Standing as a chance to learn about dragons -- how do they choose? Why do they choose, and what caused the plague? In fact the plague has led to keener interest in dragon health and in Siv's mind that means studying dragons up close. Should she impress, she'd be delighted, should she not, she'd met many good dragons she will save and will fight the plague for. Science however, is not all Siv is even if it eats her. Siv sees good and worth in everyone, even some pretty deplorable people, and believes a king word and friendly hand can turn lives to the greater good -- sure she'll trip up, but the woman is keen to see good in everyone and does her best to help them. Similarly, Siv is a kind of friendly soul, always greeting everyone with a smile and offer to sip her klah. Everyone deserves a smile, a helping hand, someone to shoot the breeze with, and Siv is one of those whom reaches out to the world with a smile and says gu.
Flaws: Arrogant, Hardheaded, Hyperfocuses, Ruthless
Siv is a nice gal but she's full of herself. Arrogant to a fault, it's never 'if' or 'when' except maybe regarding Impression -- she WILL save dragonkind, she WILL invent a better wheel, and why? Because she's Fanoth-damned Siv, that's bnloody why. She feels herself invincible, indestructable, untouchable in terms of skill bar family, and doesn't listen to reason, only data. Similarly, when you try to talk her down? HA! She's too bloody hard headed to listen or change course easily. It takes work and care to win her over to pierce her noggin and once you do, you're in. Otherwise, she doesn't care, she's doing the thing and thank you for being a dimglow. Once working, Siv will also... Focus. Too much. To the exclusion of most else. Dragons hatching? Notes time piss off conversation. Chores? WORKING, SORRY. If she's focused, she tunes most of the world out and can sit hours to if allowed, days working on things until satisfied, and even then a little more for good measure, to the point she's friendly, with few friends, because she keeps forgetting threm.
Or maybe it's how nasty she can be. Threaten family, and threaten loved ones, and that's it. You're over. Siv will find a way to come for thee and not stop until she's a winner,
Mauling?: As long as she can Stand again I'm down for mauling, including scarring. Please let Siv live to see tomorrow though.

Personality preferences?: If they can handle sometimes being the responsible one by dragging Siv from her work, they get an A+ fgrom me and many meaty treats from her. Siv knows her focus is bad.

Are there any eggs you feel your character especially resonates with?: Siv hasn't really gotten attached to anu eggas, she's taking scrupulous notes from a safe distance though.

Other: Siv likes standing looking at the sands making notes as the eggs develop. She takes more notes on abnormal eggs for research than that of eggs that fit bthe norm, especially with the mutayions green clutches have. She also watches the mother, noting how she behaves. Siv is very well behaved about it though and doesn't do anything hazardous -- she might be open to chat with mom while making notes, or passing Riders, but otherwise she's been all science and research. Workaholic bab.

Personality preferences?: I have a feeling that if she Impressed, her dragon wouldn't be overly shy, though reclusive is a possibility. One with oodles of energy who wants to bounce around everywhere would overwhelm her, so a big no there. One that is quick to anger (I think back to Angelfish from the last Hatching) would also not work well for her. Anything else is pretty well possible.
