Pelagious limped toward the next house, holding his hand over his eye. That teen had one hell of right hook. Maybe he should just knock on door again. Teenagers were mean.

Kelpie went up to the next house and said "Trick or Treat." Only to have a spider jump out of the bowl and steal 5 pieces of her candy. She frowned pouting considering pepper bombing everyone.

Pelagious peeked out from the bush he was hiding in. The teen that he had scared earlier was back. With friends. What had he done. Maybe he could take the bush witb him. I mean, it was worth two stones while he gave someone the bird. Or something like that....

When Miriam heard that the Dannas Meren festival was around the corner, she immediately began prepping a costume. She had such fond memories of trick-or-treating as a child and wanted to recreate that feeling. She fastened a bedsheet around herself in the style of the gods and goddesses, and fashioned a small purse in the shape of a pomegranate. On the day of the festival, before leaving the house, Miriam piled her hair atop her head in loose curls, and painted around her eyes with heavy dark makeup. She was Persephone, the most fearsome of goddesses!

Satisfied with her costume, she arrived at the festival as it was beginning and immediately set about to trick-or-treating.

"Thank you" she called to the first house as she walked away, her bag feeling almost twice as heavy as it had when she started. Not a bad start! On to the next house.

Kelpie went to the next house and she flapped her bat wings and twirled around. She was given 10 candies and she grinned happily.

Pelagious unwrapped a candy he found at the base of the bush and popped it in his mouth. Yeah. He was done trick or treating. He wasn't a bird,or a bush. He was simply a man dressed as grapes. He waved at the nearby trick or treaters not realizing his grapes were spattered with mud and he had twigs in his hair.

Maegara stared at the strange blue grape dude. Wtf were they feeding mortal kids these?! He was bigger than nonougo. Turning back toward the snake, she quickly went over her lines and adjusted her purple psuedo-daughter's blonde wig and pink wings. "Now remember. No biting the hands that hand the candy. This is a nice normal experience. We will get the candy and later eat it. Got it?"

With the purple snake painted nod of approval, she tured her snakes back toward the front door of their first house and knocked.

The next house had really gone all out with the decorations. Miriam knocked on the door, which creaked open. "Trick or--WHAT THE CRAP!" She jumped back as something on a spring came flying out of the door toward her. She whacked at it with her bag and sprinted down the steps, not realizing she'd dropped some candy in the assault. She hoped this next house would be less unnecessary.
