More eggs on the sands, more time for speculation! Much like in the past, bets are simple: Take the following form and fill in your bets! You can edit your posts up until the first egg hatches, after which I will lock up this thread and keep track of where we’re at!

Because the theme is a mystery, bets will be judged for 1 thing:
Accurate color distribution


-With an obvious note that probably is going unsaid, Staff cannot make serious bets as we know the general egg distribution.
-After all eggs have hatched, I’ll compile who had the most accurate guesses and distribute your prizes! Hooray!!
- Because of previous complaints, I will be *randomizing* prizes from all available eggs for both IC and OOC betting. This means you don't get to pick which prize you get! Sorry!
- Because of Previous Complaints, people can only win 1 egg from both IC and OOC Betting!

Bonus Note: Pach is running this as a *player* not as a *staff member* and I want it to be treated accordingly. There has been an issue in the past with distinguishing Pach's player-related shenanigans and how they were treated.

How Pach will determine scores:

FOR COLOR TOTAL GUESSES:
REMEMBER, THIS WAS ONLY FOR NON-SURPRISE BABIES (so only the originally listed eggs will count)
If there was a color and you didn't put it (RE: White/Gold), it is -1
If you went over the number of a color, it is -1 per number over
If you went under the number of a color, it is -1 per number under
The lowest offset has the closest guess!

FOR BONUS BET
This bet is *solely* for babies that weren't listed in the original clutching!

There is no wiggle room on your numbers. You either guessed right or you did not. Sorry! I said it was going to be more specific!

IN REGARDS TO TWINS:

As you all did not have the information needed to factor Twins into guesses (goodness, I didn't know it either) when the hatching is over I'll figure out how that effects scoring.

Twins will end up as an 'If you included at least one of their colors' into it thing, we just gotta see how it plays out

FIRST OF ALL: Because I have no way to RELIABLY PROVE what was an extra baby (the twins) and what is not on the bonus bets, I do not feel comfortable scoring and giving that one a winner. ;o; Thank you for indulging it, but this time around I can't follow up on it.

HOW TWINS ULTIMATELY EFFECTED OOC BETTING:

I compared the number of each baby, twin or not, to each number.

Example: There were 3 (non mystery) bronzes, even if one was a twin. If you put there would be 3 bronzes, you were right!

If you'd have been right on the browns as well with IC numbers (twin included), you would also be right! Twins counted for both or either!


Cheetah was counted as a blue for base numbers because it was overall kinder to scores to do so (6 blues instead of 12 greens)

If you were under on brown or bronze by 1 I gave it to you.

If you went OVER the number that hatched of the color it still counted against you.
