Gildan Keengs is an overachieving, smart and savvy child who is intellectually driven. She is the kind of troll that's not afraid to play the role of devil’s advocate where ever she goes. The small child thrives on the process of shredding arguments and beliefs and letting them drift in the wind for all to see-- because it's fun! And what smart troll doesn't enjoy the process of mental sparring over important topics?
Her capacity for debate can be a vexing one– while often appreciated when it’s called for, it can fall painfully flat when she steps on others’ toes by openly questioning her superiors, or picking apart everything the opposing party says. This is further complicated her unyielding honesty, as she is the type of troll that doesn’t mince words and cares very little about being seen as sensitive or compassionate. Sooner or later, she'll learn to watch her words, but until then Gildan will keep on saying what she thinks without caring much about how others might feel.
As these debates she takes part of can get heated really fast, Gil tries not taking these personally, no matter how striking the disagreement. Yet, if encountered with a comment that’s about personal matters, she might throw more than words to the opposing party. Gil debates for the sake intellectual stimulation and for dominance. She's determined to show everyone out there she's a shark, not chum. She just hopes whoever she's debating against is able to back up their ideas in a round of mental sparring. If Gil, feels the other troll doesn't stand up for themselves, she is most likely to dismiss not just the ideas but the trolls themselves and it wouldn’t be surprising if she’s seen taunting and pressing the issue until they can come up with either a suggestion can stand up to rational scrutiny or a valid counter argument.
Why does she constantly take part on formal and informal debates? Because Gildan aspires to become a lawyer! She dreams to walk down the road to success until she reaches the title of judge and finally Legislacerator. For that she reads up everything she can to be able to put it to practice and reach her dreams. It's not strange to see Gil walk out of a library with a large amount of law books adapted for her young age! If she does become a lawyer, working at a very prestigious law firm, she'd definitely try to be able to set a firm line between good and bad, getting the respect she deserves and winning an ample amount of beetles to live the life she deserves to live. But until the, Gild will do anything good or bad, to get the ball rolling. Sometimes she's so focused on her goals that she neglects the night-to-night upkeep that life and her lusus demands-- Head stuck in the clouds for what the future might have in store for her.
Even when she tries so hard to be seen as a capable and smart troll, her insecurities sometimes get the best of her. How she is seen is important to Gildan and with her strong and rough exterior, Gil has some levels of insecurities that affect her greatly. She feels as she hatched in the wrong caste and is often trying to obtain the approval of highblooded trolls. She would like for others to look past her blood caste and be taken seriously. Which is why she hates how the hemospectrum and how those privileged take advantage and strengthen off it. She despises how the spectrum affects those in the lower ranks and wishes to make a difference and end with the differential treatment based on social class by breaking boundaries. Seeing the neglectful treatment of the lowbloods only fuels up her need to protect those who are being unfairly judged.
She feels as if the hemospectrum should adopt her own vision of things, it should appreciate the skills, strengths, adaptability and capability one truly has and get respect off it-- sort of like in the military! She hates seeing incompetent highbloods get away with things that are wrong. But if life was just one military like institution, then snobby and incompetent highbloods would get a taste of how hard life can be when someone is looking down at you.

Organized:
Gildan is super-organized and proud of it. She is known for being punctual, finishing projects and tasks with time to spare, and always knows exactly where to find what she needs when she needs it. She sets her priorities straight instead of having an overwhelming number of commitments and little idea where to start-- having a clear sense of what’s important. She knows what her goals are, what needs to be done when, and what can be put off. She believes one must always start the night with a clear plan of ones MITs, or most important things. And throughout the day, she adjusts her plan and adjusts it as necessary. Her commitment have clear standards on a nightly basis makes Gildan capable and confident. She has no problem distributing tasks and responsibilities to others fairly and objectively, which makes her into someone who can lead a group when it is needed.
Dedicated:
Seeing things to completion borders is an ethical obligation for the greenblood. Tasks aren’t simply abandoned because they’ve become difficult or boring – instead, she takes them up when they are the right thing to do, and they will be finished so long as they remain the right thing to do. A strong will makes this dedication possible, and Gildan doesn’t give up her beliefs because of simple opposition. She defends her ideas and principles relentlessly, and must be proven clearly and conclusively wrong for her stance to budge.

Gildan sees teasing as tough love and firmly believes others should be able to handle it. She also thinks saying “just kidding” after a sarcastic remark makes it okay, even if it hurts. But her sarcasm is a defensive mechanism that keeps others from hurting her. She fears she isn't good enough, so the greenblood subconsciously puts others down so she can feel smarter and most of all superior. The worse she feels about herself, the more biting her remarks toward others can be.
Vulnerable to Criticism:
Gildan can become very defensive and hurt if someone, especially a person close to her, criticizes her habits, beliefs or traditions and responds by throwing a tantrum the moment she feels hurt. The moment someone judges her negatively any doubts she may yet have about herself can immediately catapult to the surface. Gildan doesn't realize how deeply this affects her, and how her rage can affects others. She glosses over outbursts of anger and fail to ask for forgiveness and restore relationships marred by conflict. So once criticized, she might never try to make things right with other trolls.

Lusus: Babbo is a furry white land shark that demands and expects much from his charge. He encourages her to become the best lawyer out there, after all, a lawyer is a shark. Both find that comment dumb but, it's definitely better than being chum. He tries to raise her into a strong young troll who can take advantage of any situation, whether her actions might be considered right or wrong. Sometimes they might be on the same page and other night they might argue head on until one of them wins the argument. He is demanding can be intrusive, persistent and demand a lot of time and attention from her which can sometimes come between her and her personal agenda. So their relationship is rather “professional” than the norm-- complying with each of their tasks is their ideal lusus-charge time.
Yet, if anyone hurts his charge, he won't hesitate to attack those who have wronged her.
